We loved staying in this Airbnb! It was extremely clean & had everything you will need from pots and pans to basic seasonings. Beds are super comfortable and everything was what we expected plus more! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for the cozy right at home feeling! Hot tub was a huge plus.

Highly recommend this Airbnb! Kim was super sweet, highly responsive and has thought of everything in the house. The kitchen is equipped with almost any cooking tool/pots & pans. The house comes with plenty of towels & toiletries. Besides the river, the coffee bar was probably my favorite part of the house; what a well thought out & fully stocked coffee bar! I had 2 special requests and Kim was wonderful about both. Check in was easy-peasy. The river is stunning. We enjoyed cool wildlife like beavers floating down the river & hawks flying above clutching their catch of the day. And so many birds singing! We enjoyed a very clean hot tub after a long day of canoeing & hiking. I also loved the special touch of seasonal decor throughout the home showing extra care about their guest’s experience making it feel like home. The kids enjoyed the pool/air hockey table a lot so that was a great feature upstairs! Thanks Kim!

We had a wonderful stay over Spring Break. We loved staying so close to Helen but it was so quiet and peaceful. We loved the back porch and hot tub, and used the outdoor fireplace. A wonderful place to relax in between fun activities close by! Ashley was so helpful and responds immediately! Can’t wait to come back!

The location was unique and amazing. It was remote and very peaceful, away from all the fast paced norms of life but still close enough to have the amenities of a small town with shops and restaurants. Close to the river where it was great for fishing and seeing wildlife and just a general walk in the evening. Lauren was incredibly responsive and the house itself was great with a great layout for the family and many places to enjoy. If you are looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life (still have wifi if you need to check your emails etc.) this is the place for you, you won't regret it.

This place was great! It was nice to plan a surprise trip for some of my family and they all really enjoyed this private castle in the woods. The hosts were great and responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. We were able to conveniently go to a few smaller towns nearby and we would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept very well every night. The location was ideal: just a 15-minute drive to the outlets and right at the tracks, making it extremely convenient for our Xtreme Experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Nantahala Lake is now our favorite lake. It's absolutely stunning and worth a visit, and the mountains around it are majestic. The house is beautiful, modern, comfortable, and peaceful, with the best lake views. Make sure to rent a boat to explore! It was our favorite day. We decided that when we return to Lake Nanatahala, we will rent a boat for the entirety of our vacation. We are big cooks, and the kitchen was very well stocked. The grill was clean and ready to use. It was only two of us, but the house would be perfect for two couples with kids. We are so thankful Craig and his family share their little slice of heaven with others. We had a great stay.

The stay at 909 was perfect everything was very clean and the beds was comfortable we had everything to cook with lots of bath towels and cloth it was amazing the only thing the WiFi wasn’t good and we didn’t have kitchen towels and the microwave was not working on the level floor and the driveway was so steep other than that it was wonderful will stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Krystal’s cabin. Very convenient distance to Helen, yet private and peaceful. Very comfortable bed and loved the fireplace and hot tub! We would def come back!

We had a very relaxing and peaceful birthday getaway :) Would recommend staying here! The location is nice and not too far from lots of things to do and the host was so helpful and accommodating. We felt very safe and comfortable!

A perfect honeymoon spot. It was actually more beautiful than even the pictures showed. We didn't want to leave and will definitely try and come back.

Our hosts were incredibly gracious and we could tell right away that they have put a lot of effort and care into maintaining their property. We felt right at home and were so grateful that they were able to share it with us for our visit.

This house was everything we hoped it was going to be. The river access and the ongoing rushing water sounds are amazing. We fired up the BBQ and built a nice fire on the river side patio. Super peaceful and private. We were also able to throw a tub in the river and swim around a little . We will definitely visit this place again.

My husband and enjoyed staying at the Knapp Thyme cabin. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. It felt like our home away from home! The kitchen was stocked with most anything that you would need to cook. Having the accessible ramp was so nice and the step-in shower! We did not have to climb any stairs to get to the cabin. We really enjoyed the hot tub. It was so relaxing to soak in the hot tub each afternoon/ evening when we returned home from our adventures. Our dog, Zeus enjoyed his time hanging out with us on the covered porch while we cooked our dinner on the grill and he enjoyed relaxing on the floor, in his little bed, while we relaxed watching tv on the comfy couch in the living room. We look forward to another visit soon!
