This house was a phenomenal stay for my wedding weekend. I love old southern houses and this place blew me away. Katie was very accommodating and responsive.

This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. My family of 4 plus our 2 fur babies had the best time at Julie’s home. The house is beautiful and unique with all the original remnants of wood and brick. It’s clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The pictures don’t do this house justice, honestly. The property is very private. We hardly saw any neighbors. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, hot tub, couches outside, bathrobes, etc. we appreciated the tea, chocolate, wine and flowers left for us, too. Such a pleasant surprise, really! There are plenty of things to do around in the area. We had a great time. Thank you, Julie, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home with our entire family.

Sharon’s place was perfect for a quick weekend getaway for ourselves and two college aged kids. It is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. The Dutch Tub is a lot of work but worth every minute of it for night time star gazing. We will definitely be returning!

nice and quite, but if you bringing teenagers wifi is needed, it would definitely need more that quite place to entertain them. other than is a beautiful place to stay away from noise and crowds

Rich & Brittany have a lovely tiny house in a beautiful area! Their place is cozy, clean and has all the creature comforts, plus a nice big hot tub on a nearly wrap around deck and a big yard with a fire pit, with plenty of firewood, courtesy of R & B. If you're wanting to drive up a long and winding road in the mountains of West Virginia, to a cozy tiny house, that's "just right"? Then, Goldilocks will be much pleased! The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

Our family had the best stay at Amy’s place! It was clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfortable! The fire pit out back was so nice to relax after a day of exploring and wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

Convenient location, lovely fenced yard for our dog, welcoming treats from the host - we loved it all! Beds comfortably slept all 4 of us. Bathroom was super clean and the shower was great. We had a great weekend visiting my 3rd year wahoo. Definitely recommend!

Host was very responsive; check-in was easy and area was private and safe; about a 15-20-minute walk to most things in Cville. I appreciate the cleanliness and how responsive Erica was. Thank you! Would definitely stay again.

We had a very nice 3 day weekend at Elizabeth's place. The house was really cozy and we felt relaxed and at home there. It was a great location to reconnect with family as my brother and his wife only had to drive an hour from DC area to spend time with us. We enjoyed being able to walk from the house to downtown for lunch at the Box Office Brewery and antiquing at Strasburg Emporium. On a sunnier day, we had a great hike at nearby Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area. Something for everyone in the area!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay at Susan’s place. She was easy to communicate with, provided excellent instructions on how to find the house and how to enter, and the Marie bette pastries were a lovely touch!! We were able to bring our dogs who enjoyed the views out the windows while we were at dinner. The space is cozy, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We visit Charlottesville often and this location is perfect-tucked away and quiet but easy to walk to uva main campus and access 29. Thanks for a great weekend!

We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

Nice and cozy finished studio apartment above a garage. Nice amenities, clean place and quiet location. Stayed one night this time; stayed several nights a year ago. Would recommend this place for anyone needing a short stay in thr area.

Comfortable beds, super clean hot tub and such a nice place to spend spring break. Excellent communication and very pleasant hosts. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

Very private location. The house was a nice cabin with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings. Very spotty Verizon cell service, but wifi worked very well for calling and internet. Would recommend for a private get-away.

Hidden Gem definitely deserves its name! Beautiful views with things to do in the area. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway!!
