Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Enjoy tranquil moon lit nights listening to dolphins as they swim by. By day, lounge on the porch, pergola, hot tub or dock and watch the parade of boats pass by. For the fishing enthusiasts an array of fish can be caught from the dock to incl, sheep's head, flounder, puppy drum, speckled trout, blue fish, crabs and more.

Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking in the garden, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees with a swing beneath, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. We live a slow handmade life ♥

This lovely apartment is located 3 miles from historic Beaufort. Established in 1713, Beaufort is the fourth oldest town in North Carolina. Stroll streets steeped in maritime history, quaint shops and great restaurants. Take a ferry ride to Carrot Island or Shackleford banks to view the wild horses or visit the beautiful beaches of the Crystal Coast.
