We had a great stay in this lovely house, which was clean and well-equipped. Beds were comfy with quality bedding, and the bathroom is fab. We loved sitting at the bottom of the garden watching the river and listening to the birds. Henrietta was a friendly and helpful host. It’s a perfect location for exploring the lower Dales.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

If you're looking for a true home away from home, this is the perfect spot. It's absolutely beautiful, warm, and inviting. The calming decor creates a peaceful atmosphere, and the kitchen is stunning—fully equipped with everything you could need, including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave, and a freezer outside! The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the back garden is beautifully maintained—a lovely space to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Communication from the owners was perfect, can't fault anything! We felt completely comfortable and could have easily stayed for a week.

Snug, comfy, quiet and superb location - all you could ask for when visiting Haworth! I had a great stay and a wonderful time! The cottage is delightful and in easy walking distance of key sights! Lyndsey was helpful and quick to respond to initial queries but, in truth, it was a relaxing, trouble-free visit! Will come back!

The Cow Shed is a perfect place to stay - it is centrally located, has the perfect host and offers the chance to embrace what country life is all about with goats, sheep and chickens close to hand if you want to say hello to them. A wonderful place and I’ll be back!!

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

The Coach House is a full building with private of street parking for one car flight outside. Great instructions with easy access. Inside, the smaller double and en-suite has the complete ground floor. Upstairs the huge queen bedded room has the main bathroom immediately opposite. The lounge is immense with space for all to sit at table or lounge in front of the 60 inch TV Smallish kitchen has everything you need. Annalisa was helpful and friendly from the outset with restaurant recommendations, great directions, and an impressive welcome pack. Plenty of power sockets for phones etc.

Fab house with absolutely everything you could need in the. Great location. Only a short walk to a few pubs. We went to The Woodman for lunch which was lovely. The house has loads of space and a huge outdoor area with amazing views. We were lucky and got some sun on Easter Sunday. Also has a fire pit in the garden for when it cools down which we used. The kitchen is very well equipped and the oven is fab for making a dinner for a big family. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

Angela's Mallard Cottage is spectacular! A four-storey beautiful, welcoming house that provided everything we needed for a special birthday celebration. We had ample space with the choice of comfortable bedrooms, the relaxing living room, a well-stocked kitchen space, and ambient garden with hot tub and bird song overlooking the trees and sunny skies. We couldn't have wanted for more! We loved the duck themed decor and the little touches everywhere to welcome us - the generous basket of food and drinks, a birthday card and chocolates, dressing gowns and slippers. What made it extra sweet was the fact we had our previously booked property cancelled at short notice that morning and so Angela and her team pulled out all of the stops to get the cottage prepared for us in a few hours. It saved the day and meant we'll always have beautiful memories of the weekend spent with old friends, in the cottage and the surrounding hillside walks.

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

Four generations of our family enjoyed a memorable weekend at Harlequin Cottage. Finding somewhere to suit toddlers, the elderly and a dog wasn't easy but this felt like home from home. Angela fielded an array of questions from my family with patience and provided a lovely welcome hamper. We loved the flock of wooden ducks, the toiletries and views.

We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

stunning location. Very charming house which was impeccibly clean. Lovely, huge welcome hamper for the 15 of us. Some very cute extras including welcome letter and ducks! Lots of cooking utensils and crockery. Angela was responsive to all of my extensive worries and questions. we should have asked about altering the heating as we were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather at the end of winter!! Wow to the view and clean sunken hot tub. my mum loved her 80th. Only criticism was the tired sofas which are oddly placed. But that was no problem.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sarah and Mark's property. The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in the area, but we were also able to enjoy serenity at the cottage between visiting. From the cottage we could walk our dogs peacefully up the road (a huge bonus for us as they need a quiet life), and I managed a long run from the doorstep - discovered some fab trails. The cottage had everything we needed and overall was a very relaxing stay. Sarah and Mark were responsive throughout too, always helpful and friendly - they even offered a late checkout, as no guests staying directly after us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

I booked this accommodation for a newlywed couple, and they absolutely loved it! From the start, Louise was an incredible host—her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the thoughtful surprise she left for the couple—it completely made their day and added such a personal, memorable touch to their stay. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe that's just perfect for a city break. Would 100% recommend staying here. A great space to stay for a couple of nights near family. Beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet, useful to have a shop so close and good fish and chips down the road. Loads of lovely places to explore nearby. Great size garden too

We had a lovely 1 night stay at April's place as part of a longer journey. The annexe is cosy and welcoming, with a very comfortable bed. April had thoughtfully left plenty of breakfast supplies in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Haworth. We walked everywhere and didn’t need the car at all. The garden was a little sun trap which was a bonus at the end of the day and very peaceful and quiet. The cottage has a cosy feel and everything we needed was provided including little extras like tin foil, a few spices and a welcome pint of milk! Local shops are very well stocked but there are plenty of walkable restaurants on Main Street. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!
