Our stay in the hut was a perfect peaceful getaway from the city. Annie has thought of everything and keeps the place in spotless condition. The hut is so cosy and the garden is serene. The area is beautiful, and has everything you need. Annie gave us some great recommendations for walks and places to visit in the local area. She's an exceptionally welcoming host and really makes the whole experience special. Thanks again!

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

Our second family get-together in Anna & Eric’s gorgeous “garden”. The quirky accommodation options are fully equipped with anything you could possibly need and made homely and beautiful by Anna’s tasteful interior decoration. The addition of a “Pavillion” since our last visit made our evenings even better as there was plenty of room for our group of 15 to play games late into the night, after a day of tennis, tug-of-war, trampolining, bbq, chilling in the hot tub nestled in greenery while watching their peacock stroll back and forth…

We had a wonderful family stay at Paul's AirBnB. The home is perfect for a family or friends trip. Great rooms, huge open plan kitchen/ living area and a larder for storage with washing machine/ dish washer. We honestly would give more than 5 stars if we could. If you're looking for a beautiful home, amazing views and great walks (or short drives) to local landmarks (or pubs!) then look no further. Our toddler (20 months) had a great time in the gated garden or using the New Forest as his play area, and was beside himself when the horses would walk right past the house. Paul was on hand to answer any questions we had, an excellent host! We'd absolutely stay again!

A fantastic place in a pretty, serene location where you can chill by the fire pit. The kids loved the hut and the amenities and brought them away from their devices and into the outside!

This is a perfect little place in the New Forest! It is our 4th time staying here and we love coming back. The full English breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients is to die for! We love seeing all of the animals on the farm and the forest, and our dog had a mini holiday of her own here. Amanda is an amazing host and a wonderful human being and we love listening to stories from her life and her knowledge about the forest. We hope to be back again

The best site ever. We could enjoy unique hut with a bathtub and private space. The scenery of the hill from there was so nice. Our dog could be a good friend of sheep in the next field and excited for a wild rabbit was running through the field. Facilities are well maintained and clean, especially the wood stove inside worked well and nice. Thank you for the stay and see you again! We found a good Japanese restaurant 5 minutes drive from the site.

This was a perfect place to stay after a day on the downs. the bed was super comfy, it was great to get a hot shower and Pauline left lots of breakfast bits in the cabin.

Myself and my Husband stay here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Victoria was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around her amazing place. It has everything you need and also local pubs that do amazing food if you want to venture out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Victoria :)

We had a wonderful time and we couldn’t fault the attention to detail to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The place is cosy but spacious enough for a small family or group of friends. Cath was a great host and provided clear and timely communication, ensuring a smooth check-in process; she even came to say hello when we arrived. She also left us some provisions and a bottle of fizz in the fridge; the place is beautifully decorated, there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen, condiments, crockery/glassware and bedrooms are cosy, comfy and warm; it is very clean and tidy. It was lovely sitting outside by the log burner in such peaceful surroundings. We'd definitely love to come back and stay longer. x

My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Emily’s shepherds hut, with our Beagle. The village is quiet, beautiful and clean. The local pub was perfect to dinner on the day of arrival. The drive to the new forest was along picturesque country roads and super easy. We also went to Bath for the day as well during our stay and I would highly recommend! The shepherds hut has everything you could need, and Emily was super helpful when booking. We really appreciated being left to our own devices for our stay and would absolutely recommend if you’re after a relaxed, out of city experience. A magical stay, thank you Emily x

Had the best stay here over Easter weekend! Clean, easy to get to & such a cute place

Just had the most amazing weekend away with my friends at The Barn. Tim was so helpful and friendly and pointed us in the right direction to walk to the beach. The property is amazing, spotless with lots of added extras to make your stay brilliant. The fire pit was great to sit round of an evening and have a nice drink in the huge well maintained garden. I do not have a bad word to say! Keep up the great work. We will be back next year!

We had the best long weekend, accommodation was perfect, very quiet, very nice/stylish interior to the Shepard’s hut, everything you need provided. sunset over rolling fields directly in front of us. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit/BBQ. Area was great, especially New Alresford, some great pubs, shops and restaurants (we had 2 really good meals there). Loads of walking/running routes nearby. Perfect bolt hole and we’ll defo be back for an autumn break and make use of the log burner inside.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay in this lovely hut. It was incredibly tranquil — the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding wildlife and natural setting made it feel like a little slice of paradise. The hut itself was cosy and comfortable, just right for a quiet getaway, and we very much enjoyed the cakes left for us! My partner, our dog Ted, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We’d definitely love to come back!

Sarah and David were extremely welcoming, responsive and helpful. The hut is beautiful and excellent value for money. Outside is lovely, private and beautiful. We will be returning here again, a gorgeous find run by wonderful hosts.

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday. Very cosy cabin with all the essentials. Really well located for day trips by car or by bike. A short walk to the Silver Hinde and Hare and Hounds in the village which were both great for dinner. Even though the cabin is on the farm it is tucked away with privacy. Amanda couldn’t have been more helpful and was in touch to see whether we needed more firewood for the hot tub or fire pit and offered to light the hot tub for us if we were out and about. Overall a great stay

The tinky winky hut was a prefect relaxing little getaway.. We loved using the hot tub and cooking on the bbq. Inside the hut was a lovely size space and had everything you needed. Neo our husky, had the best time zooming up and down the enclosed area. Mo was there to greet us and went through everything we needed to know and very responsive on here if we needed to message him. Great hosts! We loved the freshly laid eggs in our breakfast sandwiches too. Thankyou for them. We would definitely recommend this place :)

I booked Tanya’s place at very short notice for my husband who was stranded….he came back raving ☺️ Tanya was incredibly responsive and friendly about such a last minute request and made the whole thing really easy. My hubby had a fab time and said it was just perfect….including gorgeous touch of breakfast with hand written note to him and the doggies (with all their names ❤️)….many thanks Tanya and Andrew :-)

We were only there for one night, but what a beautiful place, very peaceful. Sally was helpful and the communication was great. We had a stress-free experience from start to finish. The nature reserve up the road is amazing and we also tried a local pub for food (which was lovely!)

Fab little one night stay for exploring surrounding countryside and coast. Particularly loved the 10 min walk through fields to the pub!

A great few nights away with my toddler: all the comfort of a bedroom with the adventure and switch off of camping! Liz was very helpful and friendly.
