We are situated just one mile away from the town of Haltwhistle also renowned as “the centre of Britain” and all its amenities. 10 minutes from Hadrian’s wall also known as the Roman wall spanning 73 miles of the country Northumberland holds the longest stretch of this amazing English heritage. All just minutes from Hadrian's Wall. Explore wonderful Northumberland, the Lake District to the West is an easy drive as is the Pennines to the South and Scotland to the North.

The Blacksmiths cottage is ideally located in the centre of Haltwhitle positioned above the Brew bar which is open late some evenings. The flat consists of an open plan living room with a double sofa bed, well equipped kitchen, a shower room and a large bedroom with a double bed and a single day bed. Both the living room and bedroom both have views onto the market square. The cosy living room has a sofa, two chairs and a fold away dining table for eating at.
