The area was beautiful, I enjoyed long walks up the mountain every morning. The host was always available and very accommodating. Great place to stay if you want to go to the volcano. The house is very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and seems safe.

🟢 Alojamiento estupendo para cuando se asista a eventos en Hacienda Sitio Mata, incluso se puede llegar a pie. 🟢Un lugar bastante tranquilo y seguro. 🟢 Las amenidades son acorde a lo descrito. 🟢 Marlon esta muy atento a las necesidades. 🟡 El parqueo es al borde de la calle (Parqueo 1) pero tiene un espacio para guardar los carros a menos de 40mts mas seguro (Parqueo 2) un poco empinado pero mas escondido, de igual forma, la zona es muy tranquila. Muy recomendado.

I loved this place, the house is beautiful, well equipped and the surroundings are just stunning. We went with our dog and he had the time of his life running all over the place. I recommend this place very much

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

El lugar es precioso privado y relajante, la facilidad de llevar a tus mascotas es un plus, la anfitriona muy atenta y amable. la piscina se disfruta mucho por el clima caluroso, cualquier carro entra pero la mayoría de la calle es de lastre y toca ir lento para que lo tomen en cuenta. Por el resto es un lugar precioso! recomendadisimo!

Hola amigos, Es un lugar muy bonito y agradable, ayuda a desconectar para conectar. Está a 6 minutos de la autopista principal, con buen acceso, también tiene un supermercado a 5 minutos de distancia lo cual lo hace ideal, tiene un excelente espacio de parqueo u seguridad en toda la propiedad La zona de piscina y parrilla es una terraza que sin duda alguna es muy confortable para disfrutar con la familia o amigos. El lugar está bien equipada con todos los equipos, electrodomésticos tecnológicos que hace muy confortable la estancia. El acceso al río dentro de la propiedad es muy fácil acceso; y el camino se encuentra con rotulación e indicación muy clara, la fauna y flora que posee el lugar es una belleza que caracteriza a la conexión del lugar Sin duda alguna al comunicación asertiva de Lorena hace que la estancia sea muy agradable y no tenga ninguna dificulta. Sin duda alguna es una JOYA ESCONDIDA, que sería un placer visitarla nuevamente. ✨

Lindo lugar, con una vista hermosa hacia Turrialba centro. El lugar es muy caliente durante el día pero al haber tantas puertas y ventanas corredizas no se necesitaba aire acondicionado. No tuve que contactar a Jaim por alguna situación, pero en los mensajes que cruzamos fue muy servicial

Simplemente espectacular! Alojamiento muy bien pensado, con un tono muy romántico y tranquilo. El lugar inspira mucha paz y relajación. Hay una casa con una familia que viven cerca pero eso no le quita la privacidad al apartamento... el baño tiene un diseño hermoso! Y la mini piscina es fabulosa. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar para una escapada romántica o de relajación y descanso 100%! La atención de Mario siempre fue oportuna y muy respetuosa.

Our stay at Casa Lajas was wonderful! The house was very spacious, set up beautifully, with the most spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The farm was lovely with such unique pools, colorful gardens, and a peaceful stream. The absolute highlight of the trip was Ms Ana and her cooking! We enjoyed every breakfast and dinner she prepared. The entire family was kind and welcoming. When one of my daughters was not feeling well, Ms Ana provided us with helpful advice and guidance to get her feeling well quickly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain getaway, perfect for large families, retreats or reunions. We will most definitely return!!! Thank you Deiby and family!!!

Un lugar muy tranquilo para disfrutar en familia con todas las comodidades, excelente para ir con mascotas ya que hay mucho espacio, la anfitriona siempre atenta y amable, en fin todo muy bien.

Staying at Maribel's place is vintage AirBnb — charming, unique, and personal. You need a 4x4 to get to the place, but that's part of the adventure. Maribel's farm is astonishing because you feel like you're on a mountain farm just minutes away from conveniences of the city. She and her whole team are chill and helpful. They sell some fruits, veggies, and eggs on site, and provide a comprehensive list of the good spots in town to grab a bite or shop for groceries. I'm a cook and the kitchen was really well stocked relative to what I normally encounter in similar stays. Nice new appliances, hot shower, and coziness all around. Her place is majestic and Maribel is the perfect host for such a lovely spot :)

The stay at David's house was great and super spacious and has a beautiful decoration! They are two very well equipped houses. Only that decoration goes the light often. But it's something from the place of guapiles. The grill is outside the house. David was a friendly and very helpful host. And best of all, they accept pets.

Finca Guarumal is not just an Airbnb but an experience! I had planned a 20+km hike and found this Airbnb 8 min from the hiking trail. WOW am I glad I came across such a special and unique farm! The Airbnb was spacious, the kitchen was perfect with a large refrigerator, the bathroom was spa like and the washer and dryer is fantastic because I like packing light. Very clean and comfortable! Natalia created a cozy place! Beyond the Airbnb was the FARM and the surrounding beauty! Don Miguel, the owner of the farm for 40 years, is a breath of fresh air and has so much knowledge on both the animal life and flowers/trees! It was so amazing to walk the farm and the quiet roads and learn so much about nature. Also, the views are unmatched! The BEST part was the horses! I could have spent all day hanging out with the horses (and Don Miguel 😂). If you have a car there is so much to explore and do. Don Miguel can give suggestions based off of your interests. Thanks for a great experience!

Linda y amplia casa, con bastante patio. Muy seguro, la propiedad está totalmente cercada. Lo único es que es un poco caliente, pero si se está en la casa y se ventila durante el día, se calienta menos. Muy recomendable.

Perfect for couples or groups of friends looking for a peaceful, rural retreat. That said, it’s worth doublechecking the amenities in advance, as not everything listed was available during our stay.
