'The Ballast' Riverfront Retreat

This newly renovated unit boasts unobstructed views across Newcastle’s working harbor and the beautiful Ballast grounds. Includes Queen-sized bed and ensuite, with shampoo, conditioner and all linen provided. Our cottage is located on 40 riverside acres where we farm cattle within the quaint Nabiac village. Newly completed, this modern and stylish cottage boasts expansive views over paddocks and the river. Guests may decide to stay and enjoy the quiet farm life or use it as a basecamp to explore the local area. In a short drive, guests can explore pristine beaches and country markets. Or stay in Nabiac and enjoy great cafes and local shops. Your stay includes afternoon tea and a breakfast basket.

"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. Self-cont Cabin, Smart TV, Netflix, unlimited NBN

The Cabin is a large room divided by a large wardrobe and Hutch with the bedroom (Queen Bed) on one side, and the living area on the other. In the large Bedroom area there is also a desk and smart TV (includes Netflix), and the toilet/shower room is accessed there. The kitchen is well equipped and I provide frozen gluten free and other breads as well as many other provisions. The lounge and chair both fold down into beds (a double, and a single) but are quite firm.
