It used to be an old hop pickers mobile home but has been lovingly restored to a modern, well presented “mini” haven. A fully self-contained cabin with open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, UK king size bed in bedroom and a shower room and toilet. Ideal for a couple or two singles as a Z-bed can be provided. Bewl Water, Bedgebury and Scotney Castle are within easy driving distance and an evening can be finished at one of the excellent nearby village pubs.

The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.

Wadhurst our nearest village has 2 small supermarkets, a fantastic butcher, deli, 2 pubs and takeaways.

The Hopper Hut self-contained accommodation

The Hopper Hut originally served as temporary accommodation for hop pickers. It used to house up to four families from London on their working holidays. Today, following extensive restoration, the unique square building welcomes visitors once again. Nestled on a working farm in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers sweeping views of Bewl Water reservoir and surrounding farms. A perfect weekend base from which to explore South East England.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This historic oak-beamed stable set within the grounds of a former Kent farm, is the perfect base for those wishing for a weekend away or longer to explore the Kent and Sussex countryside. With access to a large garden at the rear with amenities including a firepit, outside dining and seating area, BBQ, Hammock and pond jetty. Use of a large bell tent can also be included for an additional fee.
