There is the choice of the patrolled Caves Beach, the sheltered Spoon Rocks, only minutes walk away, or the wilder Pinny's Beach on a coastal trail. Sydney is about an hour and a half away. Situated near Hunter Valley with its many wineries and the Hunter Gardens, Blackbutt Reserve, Watagan Mountains, Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Avondale University (all within a 3 to 40 minute drive). No cleaning fee.
