Recently featured in Vogue as one of “The Best Airbnbs in Upstate New York for a Weekend Away From the City” - A cozy getaway upstate on 2 acres of beautiful Catskill land. It's only 8 minutes to Woodstock, 5 minutes to the village of Saugerties, and there’s hiking, skiing and swimming within minutes. The entire second floor has been newly renovated including the bathroom and both bedrooms. The first floor is an open layout with kitchen, living and dining areas leading to the backyard deck.

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage; views/wildlife

Fully furnished and remodeled with new upgrades in Spring 2025 including a cathedral master bedroom suite with a full bath. Our private cottage is set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. Sleeps 6. Ther are two full and one 1/2 baths.

Built in 1870, this lovely little house was where George Curtis edited Harper's magazine, wrote essays on transcendentalism , and argued for women's suffrage ( A recent guest informs me that George Curtis helped Thoreau build his cabin on Walden Pond ) The house has since sheltered painters, librarians, and poets.
