The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Hot Tub Hideaway

It’s beautifully appointed, very cozy, and sits just inside the woods with pasture land and a small pond in front of it. Fall is quickly approaching and with it comes lots of festivals! Local state parks and lots of hiking available! Come enjoy this peaceful piece of mountain living. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with neighbors hidden by the woods. You will have the entire upper level including an open loft with plenty of games, books, and toys. The wildlife is plentiful this year with lots of deer and wild Turkey roaming around! The sunsets are amazing!

Sleepy Bee Cottage, simple charms, near WFU

It feels like the countryside within city limits on shared property with owners home. The cottage has views of the acre+ woodland behind and a garden in front. Beyond the property there is a Duke Power easement and a ravine. There is ample, well-lit parking and a fenced dog yard. There is a small seating area out front under the shade of a dogwood tree. Smoking is NOT allowed on the property. Additional fees will be charged for violation of this rule.
