With the Cumbrian Way and footpaths located near to the property, enthusiastic walkers can explore the stunning countryside, pet the goats and sheep and enjoy Coniston Water, which is only a few miles from The Cottage.

Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Broughton Beck just 40 minutes to the centre of the Lake District, the Stable is a peaceful retreat away from the crowds and is a perfect base to explore the Southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay Peninsulas. Situated on the lower ground floor of a traditional 200 year old Cumbrian Bank Barn the Stable has charm and character yet modern day comforts. Nearby Ulverston, has regular festivals and many independent shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!
