Casa Castello - Lakefront Apartment

Recently renovated apartment in the historic center of Cannobio, situated along the lake-front of Lago Maggiore, just a few meters from the water. The apartment is distributed over three levels, and includes two independent bedrooms (one with a balcony of its own), two baths, dining room with kitchen and fireplace, and a double-height living room with rustic beams, an elegant corner fireplace, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The apartment is fully furnished, with usual kitchen accessories, dish-washer, clothes-washer, vacuum cleaner, and TV with DVD/CD player. Upon request, sheets and towels may be furnished for a modest charge. Within meters begins a choice between numerous restaurants, trattorie, wine bars, and ice-cream shops. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, and a large street market every Sunday morning. Also within five minutes walk is the Embarcadero, where it is possible to take boat excursions to a variety of tourist attractions on Lago Maggiore, both in Italy and Switzerland. Cannobio’s nearby Lido offers sunbathing and swimming, with possibilities of various aquatic sports including courses for wind surf and sailing. Adjacent to the Lido are other non-aquatic sports opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, and rental of bicycles or scooters. 200 meters from the apartment begins the bicycle trail that follows the course of the river Canobino, up the valley to the Orrido di Sant’Anna. The mountains in the Cannobina Valley offer various possibilities for excursions, with a network of well-marked trails connecting rustic stone villages along the valley, and reaching Switzerland on the north and the Parco Nazionale della Valgrande on the south, which is a wilderness area with characteristic plants, animals, and historic memories. The apartment will provide basic information on Cannobio, the Canobina Valley, and its network of trails.

Terrazza sul lago

Situato nel cuore del piccolo caratteristico paese di Gandria, sorge uno dei primi alloggi per i forestieri del secolo scorso. Il luminoso e ampio appartamento di circa 80 mq è adatto a coppie e famiglie che cercano un po’ di relax e una pausa dalla vita frenetica di tutti i giorni. L’appartamento si trova di fronte al lago e gode di un’ampia vista mozzafiato a 180° da poter apprezzare affacciandosi dalla grande, luminosa e accogliente terrazza mentre si assapora una buona cena in compagnia.

Nel cuore del Lago Maggiore, al centro del lungo lago di Suna, si erge lo storico Palazzo Matricardi con dei nuovissimi e stupendi appartamenti appena ristrutturati. Questo alloggio, situato a pochi metri di distanza dal lago, è composto da un ampio e luminoso soggiorno con cucina; la grande finestra centrale permette di ammirare il lago con le sue montagne e i suoi incredibili tramonti. A soli 2 minuti a piedi, si trovano due splendide spiagge sul lago, bar e ristoranti tipici della zona.

L'appartamento si trova al secondo piano di "Residenza Il Gabbiano", casa storica. É composto da due camere da letto matrimoniali, un bagno, un grande balcone con incantevole vista panoramica sul Lago Maggiore. A disposizione degli ospiti un tavolo e sedie sul balcone, macchina del caffè/cappuccino/the, microonde, alcune stoviglie per la colazione o aperitivo. Soluzione ideale per chi non ha necessità di una cucina, per soggiornare a Cannobio in totale relax. Come in hotel, ma più privacy.

Most small places for two will be apartments - here you will be in the heart of a unique traditional village on the Lake, but living in your own private chalet with lovely outdoor space and uninterrupted views. The cottage was built 20 years ago, repurposing the original stone from a pre-existing Roman building.
