The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

Lakeview sunset, clean hot tub, comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen, cozy living room... this place really deserves a full 5 star review.

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

We had a lovely stay! The place was very clean and the owners were incredibly friendly and kind. Our kids especially enjoyed the game room and the playground nearby—such a great location right by the beach. We also took advantage of the nearby trail for a nice walk, which was a bonus. A couple of things to note: the hot tub could use a bit more maintenance, and with a group of 10, a dishwasher would have made things more convenient. But overall, it was a great stay and we'd definitely consider coming back!

We stayed at Robin’s place for a weekend with 3 other families. Had a wonderful time and made full use of the great facilities. Highly recommended.

Great long weekend stay! The lower cottage was clean and had a beautiful view. The property had a lot of activities and things to do. A lot of canoes/kayaks freely available. Marla was an attentive, responsive host. Would stay again!

this was exactly as listed, and we are very happy with it! we travel for work so we needed something nice and affordable! it was a bonus we were able to bring our dog! next time we work in kingston, I will definitely be trying to book this again!

This is our second stay at the cabin and we had an amazing weekend . The cabin is exactly as described and the water is so clean and clear..Don is always super helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Already planning another weekend :)

An amazing place to unwind next to the lake and listen to the Loons in the evening. Erika went out of her way to accommodate our very last minute reservation and was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Rafael had a beautiful basement apartment, separate entrance and amenities. We appreciated the small touches of breakfast !! & toiletries for what we forgot. Close location to everything we need and family too. The only down side was we had an older and large top-heavy dog who couldn’t manage the stairs (husky malamute). They were advertised but I just didn’t think of it until we struggled, and our younger and smaller dogs were just fine with them.

My husband and I had the most amazing week at the cabin! We were blessed with 7 days of sun and no rain. Of course, this meant no running water, but we didn’t mind since we just used lake water! Our husky, Willow, explored all 65 acres and then some on our morning “backyard” hikes. We spent our days lounging on the dock and jumping in the lake to cool off, or swinging into the lake on the Tarzan swing! As stunning as the views from the lake were, views from the cabin were spectacular. I think my favourite spot was the screened in porch with panoramic views of the forest! This is where we decided to sleep every night, too! The cabin definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

Lovely small cabin, perfect for a weekend getaway. We have booked the cabin twice and always feel right at home. The wood stove and fire pit are our favorite.

We had a wonderful time here! Michaels place is a treasure trove of antiques and artwork that made the place feel magical. The house itself was clean. Michael was easy to get ahold of when needed and it was a great time. :)

We booked this location as it is very close the Kingston hospital where my parent was getting treatments. About 6 minutes away and also very close to downtown. All in all a good stay!

Miriam was a kind and welcoming host, and the chocolate chip banana muffins were such a sweet touch—they were so good, we couldn’t leave without finishing them all! Full of character and history this home was absolutely perfect for our family of four! The location couldn't be better. Just a five-minute stroll to both the town centre and the waterfront, with coffee shops, cafes and pizza restaurants nearby. There are two spacious bedrooms, ample living and dining areas, and a brilliantly functional kitchen with every utensil we could need. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio space for relaxing. Our hosts were responsive and attentive, clearly putting care into every detail of this remarkable home. If you're looking for an authentic Kingston experience that blends history, comfort and convenience, look no further!

It was my second time staying with Marjan for a work trip to Kingston. As ever, the suite was comfortable, spacious, and stocked with everything I needed. It's a great place and convenient to downtown. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful, very quaint cottage. It’s in a nice and peaceful area and lots of options for recreational activities, although we stayed there for a reading getaway. John provided us with lots of information and notes about our stay which were very helpful. I would definitely book it again in the future.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Kingston, look no further. Firstly, the hosts are extremely proactive and communicative. Probably the most out of any AirBnB stay I’ve experienced. Rest assured you’ll be taken care of, response times are extremely fast. The loft itself is in a perfect location, close to the main strip, but private enough where there’s parking overnight and minimal noise. You’ll find all the amenities you could need. The porch area is a lovely place to enjoy with friends. Shower pressure and heat were excellent. The place was also quite clean. The sandwich shop downstairs is super convenient, but can get noisy if you’re sleeping on the pullout couch. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, especially considering the value compared to other offerings in Kingston.

It was a great location pictures don’t do it justice. It was very welcoming and the beds were comfortable. Even though we had rain there was still plenty to do inside.
