For those seeking solitude………you know who you are…. Toast marshmallows and watch the stars in our high altitude, low light pollution mountain paradise gem. Privately nestled in a tall pine and aspen forest. At 9,300 ft, the summers are cool, the wildflowers are plentiful and the stars are bright. Very private, very quiet. Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitoes. Enjoy your stay in our mosquito-less mountain.

Claire’s Cottage - Cozy House in Nice Neighborhood

Kick back and relax in our retro cottage. The house is a former 1940s store front for the old apple orchard, and it has been remodeled to be a fun vacation spot that we also use regularly. Soak up that country feel while being close to downtown shopping and restaurants. You will have easy access to the Royal Gorge, rafting, climbing, hiking, and biking. The space has a great outdoor area that is decorated with local art. Sit on the front patio and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains.

Cozy Hive

Located in Florence, the antique capital of Colorado, our little studio apartment has big personality. It's the perfect size for a couple or small family. You can warm breakfast in the kitchenette and enjoy eating outside on the private attached balcony. After a hard day of playing at our areas numerous attractions (hiking, mountain biking, white river rafting, Royal Gorge Tourist Train, and the Royal Gorge Bridge to name a few), a comfortable bed awaits you in a cozy home away from home.

River Bluff Cottage

French doors open on to a deck overlooking a pond and back yard. This studio is attached to our home, but has a private entrance, fully stocked kitchen and bath. It feels like you are in the country but only minutes from town, the Arkansas River, and trails. A great place to stay while whitewater rafting the Royal Gorge, mtn biking, climbing, or just want to take in a meal downtown and relax on the private deck. The studio offers a queen size bed and a small couch that folds out into a bed.

Built in 1887, the Savoy building is home to this beautifully renovated and appointed Loft. The open floor plan is graced with historic brick walls and original 8' tall windows looking out onto First St. French doors open to a private bedroom, the kitchen is adorned with wood cabinets, marble countertops and stainless steel appliances, and the dining and living spaces are fashionably furnished in a classic urban loft style. Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay.
