I absolutely loved Sue's quiet, adorable cottage in Oakland. It was everything I wanted and more. She adds special touches that are above the normal expectations. There were snacks for us upon arriving too tired to go to the store. The mattress was amazingly comfortable. All amenities you could possibly need in the bathroom and kitchen and all very clean. Thank you Sue for sharing your home with us.

Diana was a lovely host and very flexible with my changed dates and earlier check in time. Check in instructions were very clear, and it helped to have reference photos included in the instructions. The place itself was very homey; it was pretty clean and I appreciate that she left a bottle of wine and snacks as a commentary gift! The deck wasn’t as nice as pictured (was rather dirty and had BBQ equipment) and wasn’t directly attached to the guesthouse section. I also heard people walking very heavily upstairs multiple times, which was a bummer. Location was fantastic and right by surfers beach along with multiple other restaurants a little further down. Overall I’d still recommend this spot if you’re looking for a weekend staycation or somewhere peaceful to relax!

Das kleine Häuschen ist wunderschön, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wunderbar gelegen. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafés und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und von dort aus kann man viele verschiedene tolle Touren machen , ob in der Natur-Reservoirs, Meer oder in der Stadt San Francisco. Ich -wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und ich werde gerne wieder zurückkommen.

We were delighted to return to Janey’s garden. It is ideal for us old folks as it’s a level walkway and only one step to enter. The studio is well stocked, very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the shower very good. There are even chairs that accommodate older guests. We enjoyed being close to town most importantly close to our daughter and grandson!

The Tiny Cottage was perfect for my husband and myself and our big lab! We stayed 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer. The mini fridge is larger than most. There are basics for cooking, which we did often, like a two burner glass top and a toaster. It's a peaceful neighborhood on the bluffs over Poplar Beach, where we walked to at least twice a day. The stairs leading down to the beach are a great workout on the return and not for the faint of heart:)) There are trails everywhere leading to the Cypress groves and to the reserve beyond. The mini split and the fan work wonderfully together to regulate the temperature of the place, although we only needed them for 15 minutes one morning to take the chill out of the air. Guliz is warm and approachable and very quick to respond. Lovely stay!

Don & Lori are such incredible hosts! Our trip ended up being shorter than anticipated, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. I was traveling with my dog & foster dog and the park across the street was so perfect! The neighborhood was so peaceful and walkable and we had such a peaceful night’s rest. The home felt like staying with a family member and had so many great touches of home and the hosts communication was exceptional. I arrived late in the dark & they put out a welcome sign for me so I knew I was in the right place. Highly recommend and will def stay here again when I come back for a longer workshop!

This was my third stay- whenever I want to go off the grid but have all of the comforts of home, this is the first place I think of (I’d probably have more stays here but I am pretty much a spontaneous booker, so Vicki’s place isn’t always available when I want a local getaway). If you’re not local, it’s also a great home base for everything Santa Cruz County has to offer. Vicki is an excellent host and I highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at an enchanting cabin in the redwoods. It's close to the town of Boulder Creek and a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back.

This cute little "shack" was very cozy and perfect for my solo retreat. The location is in a cute, peaceful little neighborhood in the woods. The unit is a compact space, but had everything I needed! The window looks out on beautiful trees and feels very peaceful. The mattress was on the firmer side, but comfortable. The space heater kept it very warm. I was able to park right out front. My pup and I felt very welcomed by Devora who was very friendly and who showed me around the property. Alice's Restaurant was a 10 minute drive and fun, dog-friendly place to have breakfast. A lovely little getaway! Thank you!
