This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Everything we wanted to do was within a 15 minute drive and yet we felt like we were out in the country. The goats provided loads of entertainment!! The soap and cheese were wonderful! It was like going to your grandmother's house!!

The place was beautiful and provided nice solitude. Joe was extremely responsive to any questions and extremely friendly. I loved all the animals! The bathtub was so nice and luxurious. I do wish the river was easier to get to- there was a path but it wasn't all clearly marked (which Joe did include in the description). The key wasn't there when I arrived but Joe easily helped me find another one. I would return in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a unique place to stay for the few days while visiting family over Christmas. It got a little tight inside once we setup the dog crates, but it was still doable. The bed in the loft was comfortable but did hit my head a couple of times on that beam. LOL. Overall a great place to stay. We'll definitely try to book it again the next time we're in town. Though probably the main house next time since we never took the time to checkout the inside.

Colby's place was very adequate and we enjoyed a lovely family time. Because it was rainy, we were mostly indoors, but there was room for everyone! The beds were very comfortable and we appreciate the opportunity to stay there!

We've been coming to Fox Haven for 10 years; it's become a winter tradition for our family and friends. It's the perfect setting for communal meals and fireside conversations, not to mention plenty of space for kids to run rampant. JoAnn is always helpful, and Randy was great in answering our questions and restocking our firewood (it was freezing this weekend!). We can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for 5 months and it was awesome! Rani is such a wonderful host, always willing to help us out. The location was great and close to a lot of attractions. Thank you again for hosting us.

Convenient to the highway, but still quiet and peaceful. Great hospitality. Enjoyed the dogs, large screen projector, and lovely conversation.

Wonderful place with a beautiful view! The house is spacious, even if it’s on the older side. Plenty of room for our family and extended family! We definitely rebook! The location was perfect.

WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

This place was perfect. I wish we had more time there, but I planned to many things for our short trip. The area was absolutely beautiful. We would love to return again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay for the second time with Brian and Sinziana. The suite was exactly as we remembered it and their home has lovely gardens and is conveniently located. It was quiet and peaceful and they were outstanding hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. The homemade breakfast was outstanding and we could not have had a better stay! We look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Frederick.

Amazing little place - so peaceful - bed was comfy and kitchen was well stocked with what I needed for simple meals. Beautiful backyard with covered porch was perfect to watch a thunderstorm that rolled in. Ask about fresh eggs - they were such a treat! Would absolutely stay again! Hard to leave - great hosts!

Chris and Emily's place was perfect for a mother/daughter retreat weekend. The sunset on the first night was spectacular! The location is peaceful, and the house spotless. They did an amazing job renovating the house, and have included so many personal touches, from the robes for after a hot-tub soak, to the well-stocked coffee bar, and (my personal favorite) the window seat in the living room for my morning coffee and reading time. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the master bathroom absoutely gorgeous! Even the smaller bath in the second bedroom was equipped with heated floors. Very nice. Highly recommend Chris and Emily's place. We loved it!

This was an amazing trip, the place was welcoming and peaceful. It had everything we needed and more. We loved meeting Rigby, Jimmy & Dean. Jessica and her husband were so welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. It felt like home, we WILL be back again.

Thank you Lauren for letting us stay at your beautiful house. All our family really enjoyed it. We also walked around the rose garden and the wedding barn was amazing. We will be hosting more gatherings at the barn for our graduations, anniversaries etc. Lauren was very responsive to our even small needs even in this really cold weather by getting the deck area shoveled etc. Thank you again!

I had a wonderful stay in this guest suite! The space was spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly quiet—perfect for unwinding. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it feel like a true home away from home. Tanya was gracious, responsive, and respectful throughout, making the experience seamless and stress-free. I left feeling well rested and rejuvenated. Every bit of attention to detail has been paid. The farm is breathtakingly beautiful, calm, and so easy to get to! We went to a local vineyard and ventured into Frederick— all lively drives and less than 20 minute drive. All dishes, cookware, and necessities were amply available. The beds were comfortable, the sheets felt amazing, the towels were soft and the fire pit was an absolute delight. Thank you for such an amazing trip!

The house and property are BEAUTIFUL! We would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean. The space was lovely. It comfortably fit two families. The sunsets from the farm are spectacular. We honestly have no negative feedback - everything was perfect!

From start to finish Erin was an outstanding host; she anticipated every need and communicated often as needed. Her attention to detail and care were absolutely remarkable. Erin was responsive, kind and thoughtful; made me feel truly valued as a guest. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We chose this location due to the proximity to several Christmas tree farms in the area which served us well ( 4 trees later we were satisified / Gavers recommended by Erin ) The home, the grounds, the views were stunning; truly is a working farm. The historical renovation is fantastic, creating a serene and unique retreat. Turns out we never knew we needed an 1,100 sq ft " game ( man cave ) barn " until you have one... lol... :) ... We shall return - thank you again for accomodating us ..
