Our aim is to provide quality, homely, affordable accommodation & base to explore from. Styled on a hotel room suite, rather than self catering, The Snug has 2 “off road” private parking spaces, King Size bed, separate sofa bed sitting area, mini fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & fresh milk, & large shower / bathroom. But no cooking.

The Office - self contained studio in Framlingham

We’ve converted our home office and ex-teenage den into an airy, spacious studio (48sqm) providing contemporary living, sleeping and even working space in a self-contained outbuilding in the garden of our cottage. A peaceful rural location overlooking the market town of Framlingham, the Office is a 15 minute walk (3 mins drive) into the town, with its castle, church, pubs, cafes, boutiques and twice weekly market. It is an ideal base for visiting Framlingham and the Suffolk coast 25mins away.

Our self-contained, well equipped Annexe is converted from cattle sheds & a horse engine room. It's light & spacious and adjoins the timber framed barn where we live. We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway. Suit bird watchers, walkers, cyclists, writers, artists, nature lovers .

We have ensured The Annex is suited for anyone by keeping the bedroom and all the amenities you need on the ground floor. Situated in the rural idyll of the Alde River valley in coastal Suffolk, it is handily located for the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere and the coastal attractions of Aldeburgh and Southwold, the concerts at Snape Maltings, and Framlingham castle. Located on a small family farm of 40 acres, there are plenty of dog walking opportunities on local footpaths, surrounded by horses, cattle and ducks.

Originally built as a farmhouse in C 1700, Talltrees was recently fully renovated to an exceptional standard combining the contemporary open plan way of living with a warm homely feeling. This country retreat sits in over an acre of private land with the owners separate accommodation at the opposite end of the site. It is only a ten minute walk from the centre of Framlingham and its selection of eateries and independent shops. We maintain and clean our house to a very high standard.

Guests will have use of part of the south facing garden and parking for one vehicle is in a shared driveway.
