Historic Linen&Stone Inn (Unit 6) Walk to Downtown

My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at Linen&Stone for our weekend trip to Galena. Our room was clean and comfortable, including everything we needed for our one night stay. The water pressure in the shower was very strong and room was warm all night even with the single digit temperatures outside. The Unit was less than a 10 minute walk from Main Street, which was very convenient considering the winter weather. I would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Galena.

Governor's Mansion Inn - twin rooms

Thank you so much for a beautiful stay! This inn was so beyond clean. It was so awesome to stay in such a historic, well kept place. A delicious, simple, elegant breakfast was included. Having parking included in this part of Madison was an additional bonus! Hosts were responsive and welcome. We used to live in the apartments across the street, so this was a very nostalgic stay for us. Hope to stay again when we return to Madison.

Driver Hotel, Room #1 - Newly Redesigned

The cutest, little hotel! It was perfect for what we needed! We rented ATVs right next door. After riding all day, it was so convenient to drop off the ATVs and just grab out bags and head up to the room. Check in was so easy! The lobby and room was quaint and adorable! It was also in walking distance of restaurants and bars. Glennie’s was our favorite, just right down the street!

Pete is an amazing host me and my boyfriend will definitely be back ! It is such an amazing experience at medley manor ! All the rooms are amazing and unique in their own ways and Pete is an amazing host that does everything in his power to make your stay the best experience ! We will be back soon!

Sisters Inn-Master Suite

This is a gorgeous historic home with thoughtful and convenient renovations. It was incredibly easy to communicate with Sharon and Tiffany. We arrived around midnight and it was not an issue to get inside with the self check in. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The downstairs living spaces were comfortable and large. We ended up having the house to ourselves for our second night. The only issue we had was the WiFi connection had gone out. I texted Tiffany about it in case I had the wrong password and she immediately offered to come out and fix it. I told her not to worry about it because we were not going to be in the house long and it was not urgent. But if I had needed it for work-based reasons, it was nice to know they were willing to address it! I would definitely stay here again and enjoyed showing family and friends some videos of the beautiful historic house.

Loved the River View Lodge! Very spacious with great views. I didn’t need them, but it was very thoughtful that they had earplugs available to drown out night time train noise. 😁 The trains are a whole thing in LeClaire! I would love to go back!

This place was perfect for our stay. Very clean and the location was convenient. Anna was a great host and provided us with several recommendations on things to do as well as local places to eat. I would definitely book again!

My visit was refreshing. The unique features allowed me to appreciate this building for more than a place to stay but as an introduction to historic Milwaukee, the architecture was a small spotlight that illuminated the neighborhood where I was located. I would enjoy returning when the bar/restaurant is in operation again.

Very clean and simple units, exactly as advertised. There is a nice shared outdoor area too. Can’t beat the location, close enough to all the shops and restaurants downtown, yet far enough away where it’s quiet.

Kinn Guesthouse Bay View - Suite #7

Kinn feels like a home away from home for me, and made me feel like a local during my job transfer. Bay View is a great neighborhood that has the best in MKE restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shops, etc. Kinn is close to it all while still being in what feels like a residential area. Would never stay downtown again or allow any of my friends and family to do so. I now live here and I will always have out of town guests who don't stay with me book at Kinn. The rooms are clean, the fridge is always stocked (wine and farm fresh eggs? yes, please!) and there is an incredible restaurant downstairs if you want to be lazy. What more could you ask for??

Our second stay in this beautifully decorated and well appointed B&B. It is centrally located in the Bayview neighborhood. Dozen of wonderful restaurants, shops and bars are within easy walking distance. And Charles and Connie are welcoming and generous hosts. We wouldnt stay anywhere else!!

Comfy, Quaint Suite 301 in The Port Hotel

We loved our 3 day stay at the Port Hotel. It’s a cool old hotel that had been restored, refurbished, and modernized. It has all the character and charm of the 1920s, with all the comfort and convenience of today. We slept well, ate well, and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Port Washington. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who wants to get away.

Cambridge Inn on Main - Lake Ripley Rm

This is a truly charming renovated building on Cambridge’s Main Street. The room was well furnished, spacious, and clean, and the bathroom was modern and very tastefully done. Communication with Tony was terrific. Because of the historic nature of the building (and its previous use), my room didn’t have a window. Some rooms do, so if that’s important to you, you can inquire & make sure you get a room with a window.

We found everything we needed for a quiet weekend at the beach. Sarah's place was unique and comfortable. we made the most of the private access to Lake Michigan, it really is a gem of a beach.
