Kitchen and living room are not separated by any wall and this creates an open and comfortable environment. We grow our food in an organic way and we have 8 chickens and 2 goats, which provide us with fresh milk and eggs every day. So don't waste your time in crowded resorts and boring apartments. Gina's Rooms

Great for walkers and animal lovers, this accommodation is part of a former "Kafenion", situated in the heart of a traditional Cretan village in the hills. Nearby is the pretty and bustling town of Spili, with its tavernas, shops, pharmacy, health centre and post office. Prices from €35 (spring and autumn) to €40 including a basic breakfast. The WiFi only works outside. Loving dogs and cats is essential, if you wish to stay here, as I have 4 dogs and several cats. . Having a car is essential.

Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.
