Little Bear Studio/Den is part of a house located at Little Bear Farm, an 8 acre private property with a large yard and field for romping with a dog, sledding, or walking around our pond and fields. Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. WE HAVE RECENTLY MADE SOME POSITIVE UPGRADES NOT REFLECTED IN PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTION.

The mountain cabin is on 2.5 acres of private and quiet surroundings. This perfect location is just 10 minutes from both downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. Lakes, rivers, creeks and hiking trails are nearby, as well as skiing, cave exploring and even rip- lines for a special thrill. Tweetsie Railroad is just 15 minutes away. Appalachian University is just 10minutes away. There are many wonderful restaurants too.

On the other side of the cabin, there is a family favorite guaranteed-catch trout farm - but, occasionally, you may smell the fish!

200 yards from the slopes, 400 yards from the golf course and the tennis courts, Cozy Condo with its nice deck is the perfect place to relax with friends, family and Fido. This apartment does not have AC because it is located 5200 feet above the sea level. Due to the high elevation, of Sugar Mountain, the highest temperatures are high 70s during the afternoon which does not happen a lot, and 60s during the night.
