The Helm—2-Story Container Home close to Magnolia Market

This unique home started as two shipping containers–20' and 40'. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap and trimmed it out in 100+ year old barnwood. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors or a side entry with a standard door. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck and upstairs bedroom is accessed by an exterior spiral stairway. We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. We’ll try to meet you to show you the house if possible but you can also check yourself in with the passcode we’ll send you the day of check-in. The location is a safe rural neighbourhood, just north of Waco and close to I-35. Surrounded by trees, cattle graze nearby. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn. Shop and eat in Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. only 3 minutes away by road. You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

This cabin is the perfect place to get away from the busy city life and technology. Right in between Houston and Dallas. Come enjoy a peaceful weekend in a beautiful two story cabin with 16 acres of property to explore. This western cabin has plenty of space to accommodate a large group offering several amenities such as an outdoor basketball court, fishing, and a fire pit for late nights under the stars or roasting s'mores with loved ones. Also, wrap around porch with rocking chairs and swings.

The Firefly is located in heart of Dawson, Texas only a short drive to beautiful natural landscapes of country fields, small businesses, and five minute drive to the Navarro Mills Lake. You will enjoy the rural charm of a small town off the main road that will take you straight into Waco if you go West 40 minutes or Corsicana if you go East 30 minutes. If you've ever wanted to experience living in a tiny home while fishing from the backyard come stay here! The second bedroom is a beautiful loft in this 6 year old 900 sq ft lakefront retreat. Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

LincolnPark is a spacious log cabin sitting on 12 acres, perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature, wildlife, and star lit skies. Our cabin has an open concept, 3 bedrooms, 2 full/2 half-baths and enough space for gaming and lounging with friends, family, and groups. The fully stocked kitchen includes stainless steel cookware and double ovens for your culinary needs. A propane grill and wood smoker is available for BBQ enthusiasts. Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Dan’s Place - 14 miles to Baylor & Magnolia

3 bedroom 2 bath, 1500 sq foot cottage close to Tradinghouse Lake. The cottage was built in the late 1940's and was totally renovated in 2017. It is isolated with only one neighbor across the street and is very peaceful. It has a small pond that has a fountain, and is stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and catfish. Fishing poles and baits are provided. Small gatherings/parties are permitted. I have had several small weddings in the past.
