Beautiful custom built home in a quiet foothill setting. Probably the best stocked and equipped kitchen I have experienced at an AirBnB; fruit, snacks, and eggs were provided. Perfect location if you are simply wanting to get away and slow down for a day or two. The owners live in an adjacent building on the property and Anna met me at check-in and did a quick walk through of the house with me, which was very helpful. She was available if we had a need, but otherwise, left us to enjoy our time. Welcoming, friendly hosts and beautiful home in an ideal setting.

This is not one of those stays that was obviously set up as a short-term rental. Instead of flat-pack furniture, bland art and instructions posted all over the place, you walk into a real, welcoming home. My kids loved the custom design of the house, especially the loft areas. I would definitely suggest it to anyone visiting the area.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The pictures were great but you’d really have to be there to get why this place is so special. It was Very clean and put together they even took the time out to label everything to make your stay that much more effortless to relax. We took a walk and The locals were very friendly and made my girlfriend and I feel like we’ve been in the neighborhood for years. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to appreciate nature and peace of mind. In addition I must ad that my girlfriend forgot her diamond rings and the host immediately contacted us and made sure to get us our property. That type of honesty should not be over looked. It makes perfect sense why the local brewery/ Restaurant , “Cool Beerwerks” Had so many great things to say about the owners of this beautiful home. From the antler chandelier serving rustic royalty realness to the marble drop countertops practically screaming luxury, this place had it all. Cozy crash pads for the whole crew, a backyard begging for BBQs, and a dining table that somehow squeezed in seven wild kids and six exhausted-but-thriving adults. The house? Spacious enough to hide from the madness when needed. If there was a hiccup—it was the tragic absence of laundry detergent. But hey, there’s a Chevron nearby for all your last-minute needs. With Sugar Bowl and a few other ski resorts just minutes away, hitting the slopes was easy peasy, snowy breezy. Bonus? The backyard’s surprise sledding hill—because nothing beats watching the kids wipe out with pure joy. Meanwhile, the game room and upper loft kept the little ones entertained while the adults fully embraced the R&R life in the hot tub. Now that’s a vacation done right.

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

This back unit of the duplex gave my family & I the peace and quiet we needed! Off the bat, Alicia the host was welcoming, friendly and excellent in answering my concerns about the house being a duplex with occupants in the next unit. I was worried about noise level. In truth, we didn’t hear or see anyone from arrival to departure. Large screen tv made movie night fun, as well as game night with provided board games. Check out chores was only to load dishwasher, collect used towels and take out trash. The steep driveway, the neighbors and being close to the road weren’t an issue for us. The pool and jacuzzi put us on chill & relax mode upon arrival.
