This AFrame cabin in Kachina Village was recently renovated inside & out. We've tried to create a quality stay, that feels comfortable & familiar. During the process we had four words represent our design mantra - "cozy, modern, vintage, grandma." Welcome to a secluded 2,880 sq. ft. private log cabin on 2.5 acres, adjacent to Coconino National Forest, between downtown Flagstaff and Snowbowl. Perfect launching pad from which to explore northern AZ, hike locally, see wildlife or to just sit on the 300 degree deck and look at the mountains. For environmentally conscious couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). No more than 4 adults. No pets please. 10 minutes from historic downtown. Chains required in winter.

Papa's House - Secluded Getaway

Newly built log cabin with a soaking tub (please note: the bathtub is a little higher than usual and may be challenging for seniors or those with mobility issues), loft, and all the amenities. Vaulted ceilings, king size bed in the bedroom, futon couch/bed in the living room, and full-size futon bed in the loft. Your pet is always welcome here. Features a full kitchen, cozy pellet stove and private outside deck. 10 min from historic downtown and Rt. 66. 15 min to Walnut Cyn, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Parks. 45 min to Oak Creek Cyn/Sedona and 70 min to Grand Canyon. 40 min from Snow Bowl. While not technically a treehouse, this log cabin is 79 steps up, sits above ground level and is surrounded by ponderosa pines! Once inside this cozy and peaceful home, you'll feel like you're in your own private treehouse. Located in Kachina Village, just 8 miles south of downtown Flagstaff, you'll get to enjoy dark skies and quiet evenings while being close to all of Flagstaff's attractions. Please note that you DO have to climb all 79 steps and cross a foot bridge over Pumphouse Wash.

Our cabin is on 1 acre of fenced land in Parks, AZ and is family owned & operated. It is unique, as it borders national forest in a cul-de-sac. It is approximately 4 miles northwest of I-40 & Rt 66, making it a quiet location away from the train & freeway noise. Parks has about 1500 residents and is between Flagstaff & Williams. The Grand Canyon is just an hour north of Williams as well. Firewood included for wood stove & outdoor fire pit.
