We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Hunwick is a small village with a traditional country pub. The Quarry tea room & deli serve excellent food . The village is 3 miles from Kynren & Bishop Auckland 20 mins drive to Durham and Darlington Were in a great location to explore the local area.

Comfortable studio apartment for two. In great location a pleasant 10 minute walk, via the riverside from the historic city centre, with its many attractions and numerous options for shopping and entertainment. Could accommodate baby if necessary and I will provide travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost. However, guests must provide own bedding and other requirements for baby feeding etc.

Bramble Cottage is a charming, two bedroom bolthole on a rural farm on the outskirts of Durham. This pretty little cottage is one of four and has been lovingly converted from the farm’s old barn. For those who want to holiday as part of a larger group we have Ivy Cottage and Cornmill Cottage next door which sleep 3 and 6 respectively.
