Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a stone cottage? This unique property has great history. It was built as a one room school house in 1836 and was active until 1914. Great studio living, with living room, bedroom, and dining area all combined in one large great room. Original exposed chestnut beams, and provide an airy and comfortable space to relax! Bluestone countertops, and Vintage GE refrigerator from 1930's the cozy kitchen provides a spot to enjoy morning coffee☕️

This is an owner operated cottage, no seedy management op. Airbnb automatically categorizes us as a "lake front" property but it is more of a "lake view" property. No direct lake access, but you can see it from the patio.

Bedroom has a queen size adjustable bed, 52 inch TV with wifi and cable. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a walk in shower a vanity with double sinks. Cottage is on a 1 acre 185ft lake property shared with the owner. Dock for lake access. 2 kayaks and life jackets available to enjoy the lake. Water shoes a must as lake bottom is rocky. No children. No pets. There are 2 Friendly and Fluffy Australian Shepherds on the property.
