Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

The cottage includes a queen bedroom, bath tub & shower, kitchen, living room, deck with lounge chairs & BBQ, and on-property hammock, gardens, meadows & forests. This coastal forest cabin is the only property with access to the little known south headlands beach trail of Russian Gulch State Park. Bring your hiking shoes. Just steps from the beach and other connecting trails like the famous waterfall trail, Mendocino headlands trail, and the north headlands trail. Come experience the magic!

There is also a separate cottage that can be rented separately or with the house. Found under Albion, CA. "Quaint Ocean Cottage". The 11% county tax is included in the nightly rates. A separate owner Rental Agreement is required. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed with a non-refundable pet fee of $50.00
