House is in the beautiful nature and Akira and Eiko san is really kind and super cool couple. I'm really happy to meet them ♥️ Driving to this town can be a little bit wild but it's totally worth it. I want to visit again in future

EXCELENTE!! El lugar nos pareció precioso, típico japonés, esta cerca del Muelle de llegada, es cómodo, silencioso, limpio... el desayuno fue delicioso, la Sra. es encantadora, amigable, atenta, excelente anfitriona. Nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. Definitivamente esperamos volver y hospedarnos allí por mucho más tiempo.

The only place to stay when visiting Kochi or even Shikoku. We found this property by chance on Air BnB and didn’t realise how much of a gem it was. Upon arriving we were greeted by Akiko who showed us around this amazing and historic house. He made us feel at home and informed on the facilities available. They also booked us a reservation for dinner that evening and gave us lots of recommendations for sightseeing in the area. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We even got to swim in the nearby river which was like something from a movie! Beautiful! The breakfasts were made by Akio and Akiko and very delicious - the best breakfast we have eaten in Japan! All fresh and locally sourced ingredients. There is also a local shop next door which sells a small amount of produce and crafts! Overall we recommend this property to anyone wanting an unforgettable experience on Shikoku with fabulous Japanese hospitality. Thankyou to Akio, Akiko and children! 💙💙💖

The host’s hospitality was superb! Very thoughtful and proactive! They were accommodating to my requests along with providing the most comfortable blanket I’ve slept with in my entire life! I was able to get my first eight hours of sleep since a long time🥹

当日に「新築棟の大部屋に空きがありましたので、そちらにグレードアップしてご案内予定です(料金変わらずのグレードアップです)。」とのメッセージを頂きました。とても有り難いサービスでした! ホストの方には、当方のメッセージにも素早く、丁寧な対応をして頂きました。 部屋は木目の綺麗な部屋で、2段ベッドでした。上段・下段共にコンセント(2口)とライトが備え付けられており、快適でした。 但し、同じ階の他の部屋に別のグループが宿泊している場合は、そちらの声が聞こえてくることがあります。これによるトラブルを防止するため「午前0時には消灯」というハウスルールが設定されていますが、当方が宿泊した際はこれを守らないグループだったようで、一時的に騒がしくなっていたようです。ホストの方には何の責任もありませんが、夜中までワイワイ騒ぎたい方は注意してください。 最後になりましたが、宿泊させて頂きありがとうございました。

Auberge Yugashira is beautifully situated in the hills, surrounded by nature and the sound of birds singing. We enjoyed our tranquil accommodations. The fully detached Japanese-style "guesthouse" we slept in was very nicely thought out and designed. Olivier, Reika and their three children were wonderful to have breakfast with, and we ended up chatting with Olivier for quite some time after Reika and the kids left for school. It was a memorable stay for us and we even had a chance to buy some freshly made honey to bring home!

The house is beautiful with an amazing view and a lot of thoughtful touches! We stayed there as a halfway point while we did the shimanami kaido and it was a great spot to rest. The host also provided some food which was a nice surprise
