Once a barn, then a bank, now a cosy home, it sits close to the Lake District in the new Yorkshire Dales National Park on the coast to coast route. Orton is a friendly village with a shop, primary school, a welcoming pub, a famous chocolate factory and a tea room. There is a local market once a month in the village square. It is in a beautiful unspoilt quiet valley, ideal for walking, biking or exploring.
