Welcome to Villa Maria, our small fairy-tale chateau by the forest in Lauterbourg. It is your home away from home, with its own history and character, offering a calm retreat or a base between Karlsruhe and Strasbourg for exploring the Rhine Valley, Black Forest, and the Vosges. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the village bakeries for morning bread and 10 min to the lake & beach. Whether you are visiting as a couple, family or a group of ten, we hope you find it as welcoming and peaceful as we do.

Die 50qm-Wohnung ist neu eingerichtet und verfügt über ein großes Doppelbett, ein gemütliches Schlafsofa, einen schönen Essbereich und eine 25qm Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick. Die Durlacher Altstadt mit hübschen Restaurants und Cafés ist fussläufig entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (REWE/ DM) sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zur Straßenbahn sind es wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Die Innenstadt ist in 10 Minuten mit der Bahn erreichbar.

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).
