Rustic wooden cabin in the cloud forest

Empalme is small mountain town at 7,500 ft elevation in the cloud forest. The climate is cool and often rainy. This is a rustic traditional wooden cabin with a great warm wooden stove. The hosts are very friendly Costa Ricans that are willing to show a local rural experience in Spanish. This is also a perfect location for people wanting to relax and enjoy nature with wifi access or for people in transit to the southern part of the country.

La casa de Chayito

Traditional tico cottage. A modest, cosy dwelling, located in the beautiful valley of Santa María de Dota. Citrus, papaya and avocado trees in the garden. The house is near to the towns centrum (3 min. walk) and to public transportation. Close to local restaurants, bars, grosery stores and bank. The house has been recently renovated keeping the traditional exterior. BBQ place in the patio. Parking place in the propiety.
