Dorset Yurt offers a quiet and rural retreat yet within a couple miles of the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, which is on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. A country store selling local produce (including an off licence ), is a three minutes walk from location. Only one yurt on site with your own cabin equipped with a small kitchen/dining area (fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster and a kettle ) including a hot shower, and flushable toilet. Parking space (EV). No pets allowed.

Eggardon Hideaways Yurt

This is a quality 18 ft yurt made on the farm by Emily herself who has 17 years experience crafting yurts. It is fully insulated with a log burning stove. The outside space has exceptional views of the Dorset countryside including two other local hillforts. It has a well-equipped fire circle with cast iron pans, a trivet, tripod and Dutch oven. The outdoor kitchen has two gas hobs, so whether you are toasting marshmallows or cooking a feast all you need is here for a truly unique experience.

It's equipped with a comfortable king size bed, a wood burner for warmth, and a mini fridge for convenience.

Hazel Roundhouse at Walnut Farm

New for 2025, Hazel is our newest creation and really is epic! She is a luxurious, insulated ensuite roundhouse cabin with a second bedroom, en-suite bathroom, sumptuous super-king bed, wood burner, attached private kitchen, sun deck, fire pit area, private parking and has views overlooking the lake. It can sleep up to six, with the super-king bed, two twin beds and two additional single beds able to be added into the main room.

Located at The Dorset Hideaway, Soak up the panoramic views from your very own hot tub and take in our dark skies status. Toast a marshmallow or two around the fire pit at night. Your private shower & toilet are a short walk away along with the shared kitchen/diner. Peace & relaxation are assured as our glamping is adults only and no dogs. Our glamping after all, has all modern comforts in the great outdoors.

Each yurt and private garden is 400 square meters with 50 meters until the next yurt, this is experiencing nature at its most luxurious Sleeping up-to four people, our large yurts are fully insulated for year-round use with wood burners, kitchenette, table & chairs, king size bed and two single beds that come from a day bed. Solar power, running water and a gas hob allow you to be totally self sufficient.
