Silver Fox Barn is a stone barn conversion in the hamlet of Hetton Hall, near Chatton, which we fell in love with and fully refurbished in 2015. If you want peace and quiet, fresh country air, and an abundance of wildlife, this is for you. Warm and cosy, with beamed ceilings and a log fire, the Barn is furnished with hand-crafted furniture by Indigo, comfy modern sofas, and finishing touches of local and historical interest. Ground floor - Entrance hall with cloaks and WC. Snug room with TV, DVD and games. Farmhouse style kitchen with pine table, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors opening out to the enclosed front garden and patio area. Lounge with wood burning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD and arch over patio doors leading to the rear enclosed garden. First floor - Bedroom 1 with a Super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, heated towel rail and WC, and walk-in dressing room. Bedroom 2 with a Super king-size bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin beds. Bathroom with over bath shower, heated towel rail and WC. Services - Electricity and oil central heating included. Logs fully provided in garden log store. Wi-Fi. Shaver point. Duvets with linen and towels. Off road parking for 3 cars. Shop/pub 3 miles in Chatton or Belford. With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

A lovely 17th century building, one of the oldest properties in Belford, that has a coffee shop below. In a friendly village only 5 miles from picturesque Bamburgh. Belford has pubs, restaurants, play parks, shops, chemist etc Very central for all attractions in Northumberland only half hour and you’re in Scotland. Near the coast with all its castles and beaches, and only 12 miles from Holy Island. Alnwick is only 14 miles away with the amazing castle and Gardens, also Barter Books.

The Annex in Belford tiny place with a big heart

The Annex is a 260yr old listed building originally a tiny hay barn, recently renovated to a high standard that provides our guests with a comfortable stay with light breakfast included and is perfect for that well deserved break. Please note this is adults only. Because of size of Annex. WE CANT ACCEPT LARGE DOGS. unfortunately there isn’t enough room. But we love seeing all the different dogs who come on their holidays happily enjoying themselves in the very safe fenced courtyard.

The Sanctuary, is a secluded self catering cabin set in a private walled garden, ideal for anyone who wants to get away and retreat for a while. There is a private access to the cabin through the garden gate. The garden is shared with the owners and 3 friendly dogs. The cabin is fitted out for use of one person or two people sharing (a single or twin). It has an on-suite shower and toilet, and a kitchenette fully equipped. The cabin has emergency lighting and USB charging points.
