Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

This cabin is an absolute gem! David and his wife are the most welcoming hosts, making sure every detail is perfect. The space is spotless, stylish, and beyond comfortable. You can feel the love and care they put into hosting. We loved every moment and would come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

Just as described lovely private airbnb, within driving distance to amenities and restaurants. Peaceful surroundings and great facilities.

Lovely lodge in serene setting - very very quiet on single track road. Cycle paths very close. Sherwood pines centre close. Great stay with two grandchildren and family called in.

Very cosy stay, love the outdoor facilities and weather was divine so it really has the perfect set up. Hot tub, TV outside (a nice touch) ping pong and hosts were kind enough to leave some drinks and snacks not to mention brought us extra bedding. Very peaceful, beautiful garden and setting. Our dogs had the best time too. Several pubs within 5 min driving distance.

Stayed here after a great day at Alton Towers. Steve was a fantastic host, and the property was exactly as described. Felt right at home, and the directions were brilliant. I couldn’t believe how close we were to the park, but how serene and quiet the area was! I could not recommend this Airbnb enough - cheers!

Quiet girls night in for 30th, perfect location

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

This was a fantastic find for us and can’t get over how beautiful not only the accommodation was but the setting too! Such a peaceful place with fabulous views over the lake. The only downside was that we were only there for one night! Definitely will be returning if we are in the area. Special mention to the host Andy who was super friendly and helpful.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at The Windsor cabin. It had beautiful decor and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was such a highlight as well. Couldn’t recommend here enough. Linda and Hannah were a great help when we had any queries. Will 100% stay here again.

The location was fabulous and Julia was very kind to leave some welcome treats for us. The communication with Julia was also great and check in/out was smooth too. Lots of options of walks in the area - we would recommend :)

The hut was amazing for our anniversary! Excellent location with stunning views and easy access to lud's church through public footpaths. The hut was well equipped with everything we needed and we were kindly left a huge chocolate roulade with fresh cream to enjoy on arrival which was such a nice touch. It was so peaceful and the setting was perfect with the loudest thing we heard being an owl and the grazing cows. We hope to be back again!

Had a lovely stay for my partners birthday, booked at short notice and Janet was very quick to respond to all my questions. We went for a lovely meal at Bistrot Max in Tutbury would highly recommend also. The lodge was clean, hot tub a lovely added bonus. Thank you

I booked the chalet for my boyfriend's birthday in the hope of having a quiet, relaxing weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The interior is stunning with a peaceful vibe and has everything that you could need. We even managed to cook a Sunday roast with all the cooking equipment provided! We loved the small details including the sound systems where we could constantly have music on throughout the Chalet. Jemma and Dan made it feel very homely and the fresh loaf of sour dough was a lovely touch. We would highly recommended a stay in this gorgeous place!

Finding the lodge was easy, but only if you use the post code and directions Rebecca sends. If you use your Sat Nav you will never find the lodge. Rebecca responded quickly to messages and although we didn't meet, I felt she was a lovely host. The area is very quiet and great for walking, either with or without dogs. The lodge was comfortable, clean and a good base for the Derbyshire dales. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Rebecca x.

Had a great stay with my partner and our 2 dogs. We had glorious sunshine so spent to whole time outside. The dogs loved the water and we took the paddle boards, easy launch point. The deck had everything. Lots of seating, BBQ fab and hot tub (even though we didn’t really use it). Dog owners be aware it’s not 100% secure but if your dogs have good recall they have loads of space to run and swim. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin but it had all that we needed. Only thing which was a bit of a niggle was the hot water pressure but it didn’t take away from what a great spot it is
