Large Vega Lake Colorado Real Log Cabin

Open year round, this spectacular 5300 sq ft log cabin is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 16 total guests (all children/adults included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see amenities) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

Well-appointed log cabin at 9000' on Grand Mesa w/ Starlink internet on 72 acres borders National Forest and boasts unmatched views, massive aspen groves, and direct access to West Green Mountain trail (~1/4 mile away from the north edge of the property). This off-grid cabin has running water, full kitchen & nice bathroom w/ shower via solar PV system, propane appliances & backup generator. NO PETS and must have AWD or 4WD vehicle, no exceptions. The Grand Mesa is beautiful! We are located at 10,200' in elevation. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SNOW ON THE GROUND THROUGH MAY AND INTO JUNE. We have a total of 9 cabins for rent. We are across the street and a short walk to two lakes, beautiful scenery, hiking trails, XC skiing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, canoeing, mtn biking, and great fishing! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards & snowshoes. We also have snowmobile tours and rentals. There's something for everyone!

River View - Cabin 7

Great cabin with 1 queen bed, kitchenette and private bath. Can add 1 full size bed for $25 with advance notice. 2 night min. stay for holiday weekends. Bedding, towels, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator and basic kitchenware provided. Pond and river view. Our new wifi has been reliable. Pet fees are $15 per pet per night to be paid on arrival, no pets on furniture, must be leashed, picked up after and not left unattended in cabins unless crated.

Enjoy the views of our beautiful pond right outside the back deck with your morning coffee! Although small, it is completely equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, instant hot water, and laundry. Paonia is a short two minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 15 minute walk away. We hope you decide to come stay with us!
