Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Barn Conversion in Exmoor National Park

Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

Disconnect from the world into a beautiful, luxurious and spacious hut with its own private wood fired hot tub. Nestled in the Avill valley in a very quiet part of Exmoor National Park, the ideal place for exploring the beautiful moor and gorgeous coastline of Exmoor, all on the doorstep. Abundant wildlife can be seen from the hut, including deer, foxes and buzzards over-head. Amazing views and total seclusion await. Underfloor heating and log burner ensure the hut is cosy & comfortable.

Keep it simple in this peaceful retreat in the centre of Wheddon Cross. Exmoor is an international dark sky reserve and The Retreat couldn’t be better placed for stargazing. A few steps take you to the Rest and be Thankful coaching inn, loved by locals and visitors, it is renowned for its Sunday carvery. There is also a petrol station with a supermarket in the village, stocking fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from local farms, it also has an in-house bakery for your fresh baked needs.
