Gap of Dunloe Shepherd's Cottage

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Nestled in the heart of Gap of Dunloe Glacial Valley, Beaufort, Killarney on the Ring of Kerry, spend some quiet time in our lovingly restored 1800s cottage. The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The cottage is in a quite country side with surrounding fields and plenty of sea air. There is a local shop a stones throw away and the beach is just five minutes away. You can smell the sea air and just listen to nature. The cottage is classic contemporary with luxury and pure comfort to meet your needs. There is a good size garden for relaxation, and there is also a 13ft trampoline for a little bounce for that youthful feeling. What I love is the comfort and the tranquility of countryside.

My place is close to the Wild Atlantic Way, Ring of Kerry, Sea sports walking routes, Dark Sky Reserve, the Skelligs, the beach, great views, art and culture, parks, restaurants and dining, Valentia Island. You’ll love my place because of the surroundings, the ambiance, the breathtaking views, the light, the comfy beds, comfort all rooms, the cosiness, the setting, the amazing sunsets from the conservatory. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families business remote working.

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

This cosy cottage in Tralee has been renovated to create a comfortable and modern holiday home. Located in the heart of the town it is an ideal location for a short or extended getaway. The cottage is heated by a modern, eco friendly air to water system that has underfloor heating and constant hot water. This makes it ideal for visitors at any time of the year. 9 minutes walk to Tralee town centre. 35 minutes drive to Killarney. 45 minutes drive to Dingle.

Isolate Away from it All & Unwind in Peace & Quiet

Just Off Wild Atlantic Way, my cottage is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and we are surrounded by magnificent views including the Magillycuddy Reeks mountain range & Inch beach and even the Blasket Islands in the distance. Dooks Golf Course is a spectacular Links course located only 1km away from the cottage. The cottage is very homely and is located on our farm.

Gortavallig is a 200-year-old traditional stone whitewashed cottage, sympathetically restored to retain its original character and charm. It is set in over 100 acres of private land and accessed by a quarter-mile-long private road. It is a few minutes on foot from Glanmore Lake and has fine views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.
