Heir Island is one of Ireland's smallest inhabited islands. The island boasts with beauty, with a plethora of beaches, water sports, day trips and our own jagged coastline where you can take in the best of the Wild Atlantic. The island is only accessible by boat or ferry, cost is €6 return for adults and the ferry runs every 2 hours in the summer from Cunnamore Pier. When booking we can introduce you to activity providers in the area so you can make the most of your trip to West Cork.

This is a newly renovated room which is beautifully designed and furnished in a modern style. This room type has a double bed and a single bed with a private bathroom with toiletries. There is a telephone in the room and when you dial “0” it brings you through to our 24 hour reception service where we will look after all your needs.

This beautiful wooden house is located 2kms from Ballydehob village in the countryside. It is in a private and secluded area offering lovely peaceful walks along the river bank and over the hills. The house was built by Liam with the environment in mind and boasts a compost toilet. This is simple and easy to use. and cleaned everyday. Electric is provided partly by wind turbine, the house is colourful and quite unique.Visit and enjoy.

Downstairs Double "Room Only " availability in low/mid season. Comes with crisp, cotton bed linen and breathable feather bedding + one allergy pillow. En suite is a walk-in wet room with wheelchair access. Room has extra door directly to both guest sitting room and door to patio/garden. Dogs welcome if rugs are rolled up. Guest sitting room next door to this room for refreshments etc.

Room 1 - Lighthouse View has a double bed and a private bathroom with luxury toiletries. All Salty Dog rooms include free WiFi, flatscreen TV, premium duvets, pillows. Breakfast Breakfast is included with every stay and is served in the restaurant from 9:00–10:00 a.m., Friday to Tuesday. Please note that breakfast is not available on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Rookery Lane is located on Bridge Street in the heart of Kenmare. There are four self catering, studio style rooms perched above the bustling cafe. Each room is unique with their own special features. Enjoy discounted rates on breakfast in the cafe when staying with us. Please note that our cafe is currently closed Mondays and Tuesdays for the off season.
