At '235' you will have your own private space to enjoy day or night. The comfortable sofa bed can be made up ready for your arrival or left as a sofa for you to relax. Staying in the centre of town, close to takeaways, a brewery, galleries, shops, park and Carlingwalk Loch. Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. I am happy to share local knowledge - places to visit, walk, eat and swim.

Our off-grid Shepherd's Hut offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of a working farm. Set on the banks of Loch Patrick in SW Scotland, our shepherds hut sleeps two, has a wood burning stove and beautiful views. Set a stones throw away from Loch Ken, the Gardeners Cottage is ideally located to explore the Galloway Forest park, the beautiful secluded beaches dotted along our coastline and of course Loch Ken. We are a five minute drive to Castle Douglas where there are supermarkets and restaurants, and on the outskirts Threave Gardens ( NTS ).

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Nearby there are parks, stunning walks, shops, restaurants, pubs & supermarkets. Kacey-Faye is ideal for couples or families looking for a relaxing short break or a longer holiday. The local area boasts stunning beaches, beautiful country walks & for mountain bikers the 7 Stanes world class mountain biking centres.

We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.
