The house is located in the village of Banks, 1 mile from Lanercost Priory and 4 miles from the market town of Brampton. It is ideally located for day trips to the beaches of Northumberland, the Scottish Borders or the Lake District National Park.

A lovely 3-bedroom home just 45 minutes from the Lake District. Located opposite Cumberland Infirmary and a short walk from Carlisle city centre, this spacious house features double beds in all bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and an open-plan living/dining area with plenty of storage. Off-road parking is available at the rear, suitable for small/ medium vehicles, tight angle but still plenty of space to drive in. Perfect for long stays, with everything you need provided.

A beautifully appointed two bedroom cottage, situated in the heart of popular and desirable Scotby village. Children and dogs welcome. The accommodation comprises entrance hall leading to the living room with original fireplace and gas log burner, modern kitchen with integrated oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. To the first floor there is a feature stone wall leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. Sleeps up to five persons in two bedrooms (one king sized bed and one triple bunk bed).

Main bedroom has a standard sized double bed and the second bedroom has a single and a trundle bed (trundle NOT suitable for an adult, only for child/young teenager) The living room and open plan kitchen are fully equipped including fridge, freezer and a washer/dryer.

Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available.

The Byre - cottage in converted barn nr Ullswater
Ideal for couples and young families. Completed in 2020, The Byre is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater in the Lake District. Thornythwaite Farm is in Matterdale which is a peaceful valley off the beaten track but with great access to all the popular areas of the Lakes. There are plenty of walks from the door and a good pub, The Royal, is just a short stroll down the road.

The Old Map Shop
The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.

The Silo Cumbria
The Silo is a completely unique holiday stay, based in the beautiful countryside in North Cumbria. Originally a grain store tower, it has been completely reimagined and renovated as a one bedroom home-away-from-home.
