Absolutely beautiful, amazingly stylish, luxurious fixtures and fittings, in the most idyllic setting..We had such a relaxing time, at this cottage in the Somerset countryside. We just simply adored staying here..Nights in the hot tub under the stars are a must, plus cosying up by the log burner..We can not wait to return, Simply one of the best air b n b's we ever had the pleasure to stay at..You won't be disappointed...

We loved our stay at Miranda’s place! It was clean, the views were stunning & she was extremely responsive and helpful. Thankful for this wonderful spot for some time with family!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Helen and her husband were friendly and approachable, and the cottage was lovely - beautifully appointed and really well taken care of, with everything you could need for a great stay. Our 1 year old loved playing in the garden and on the slide, and seeing the dogs! Such a peaceful location with a lovely, friendly pub a short walk away that had a surprisingly good array of local, alcohol free beers. Definitely recommend Helen’s idyllic cottage.

Beautiful house and location. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were super comfy and clean. Cottage is well decorated. Perfect weekend break with the girls, would highly recommend.

We had a lovely couple of days at Vine cottage. The cottage is spotless with a well equipped kitchen and cleaning products. The beds were very comfortable and all rooms are a good size. It has a lovely homely feel to it. The hot tub and games room were an added bonus and the garden is very pretty. The walk to and from the village shops may be a struggle for the elderly or disabled due to a steep hill.

My partner and I had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at this place. The atmosphere was peaceful, the space was spotless and cosy, and every detail made us feel at home. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for a quiet, rejuvenating space!

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This was without a doubt our most favourite places we have ever stayed. Everything was just perfect. So peaceful and quiet, we had everything we needed. Lovely walks and great for dogs. The garden area is completely secure therefore our little Whippet was able to roam around without us worrying. The WiFi was brilliant, the bed was comfy, the shower was lovely and the kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. We cooked every evening with ease. This is such a beautiful and quiet location, tiny village with a lovely friendly pub less than 10 yards from the front door (and downhill on the way back!). The rear garden was so peaceful and interior so comfortable that we could have stayed longer. The lanes around are walkable with care and the local scenery stunning. Alison left clear instructions and responded as needed. (It’s a period cottage, so a small word of warning for tall people: Duck)

We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Cottage, which really lived up to its name. It's a very well set up house, in a great location overlooking the village of Beer. It particularly benefits from the afternoon sun, so great to sit out and enjoy dinner in the outdoor space. (We recommend the fish and chip shop on the High Street!) Beer itself is beautiful and my 9 year old son, and 85 year old mother both loved it!

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

Sally was a great host, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. She has a lovely home, is very welcoming and was very happy to answer questions. She was amenable, and her friendly cats made our stay extra special.

My sisters and I were really pleased when we arrived. such a beautiful home. thank you for the cream tea that greeted us. That was a nice touch and was appreciated as the three of us settled after our journeys. I strongly recommend. it's a lovely village close to amenities. we will definitely book again. het huis voldeed geheel aan onze verwachtingen en meer: sfeervol, huiselijk, lieflijke buitenruimte en prima licatie voor het ontdekken van het mooie eiland Portland. Vlakbij bushalte voor bus naar oa Chesil beach en aan de overkant vd straat begonnen al bordjes met Public footpath oa over de cliffs richting de vuurtoren Portland Bill. We hebben in 2 dagen heel veel kunnen zien. In het huis ligt veel informatie daarover.

Really enjoyed staying here, the situation was beautiful and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. It was so dark at night with no light pollution making for incredible star-gazing! A less than 15 minute footpath walk to Seatown beach and The Anchor Inn, or less than 10 mins into Chideock with 2 more pubs. Abundance of footpaths right from the house. You can drive to Eype beach or Golden Cap in less than 10 minutes too. The house itself was very thoughtfully done and had everything we needed - nothing was missing - even some laundry detergent and pegs for emergency baby laundry! It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

This is a real gem. It is such a quiet setting and the cottage has everything you need. We watched the sun set and sat in the garden area. You are so close to great beaches and walks.

Harriet's place was amazing. Harriet was very responsive and proactive with helping us with our late check in. The house looks really nice in photos, but it's even better than in real life. We have only one regret, that we couldn't stay longer!

We loved our stay at pound cottage. The cottage is beautifully furnished & well equipped. It was lovely to wake up to birdsong & views of the peaceful village. We also found the bed really comfortable. We ate at the local pub which serves good simple food & appreciated the village general store which is open 7 days per week. Emmy had left us plenty of info & inspiration for exploring the local area & thank you for the treats too! Lustleigh is a great base for exploring the local area & we hope to return soon.

Very spacious house in a very rural location. A welcome gift of cake and cider waiting for us. Village not served by a bus route. Nice pub which does food just around the corner. Cider farm, apart from cider sells local produce and has a canteen attached. Booking recommended.

Lovely accommodation, very peaceful and situated in easy reach of many beautiful places. We especially liked Dartmouth. The pub which was a 5 minute walk served excellent food and the nearby petrol station had a good size store.

Lovely secluded getaway with nice walks nearby. There is an excellent pub and a railway station in Yeoford which is about 30 minutes walk. Pristine, cosy, high quality accommodation. We hope to return soon.
