Fab house with absolutely everything you could need in the. Great location. Only a short walk to a few pubs. We went to The Woodman for lunch which was lovely. The house has loads of space and a huge outdoor area with amazing views. We were lucky and got some sun on Easter Sunday. Also has a fire pit in the garden for when it cools down which we used. The kitchen is very well equipped and the oven is fab for making a dinner for a big family. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

John is an absolutely brilliant host and a top bloke too...from the moment we arrived john was there to greet us with a very friendly warm welcome and a little tour of everything there is, including the cool little barn playroom with a good pool table and just a very quirky feel to it. The cabin is a lovely little place inside and out...although I'm not a keen camper and this was my first time glamping as such john was there on call at 11pm just to come over give us a hand at getting the fire set just perfect for us.. We will be back at some point but next time will try one of the rooms instead of the cabin (plus I won't have to drag you out near on midnight again haha) All in all we've had a brilliant time and would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Ps...he supports a great football team too 🙌🏼

Phil and Claire’s house was lovely, very homey and just what we needed for our stay as a family. They were very great at accommodating our last minute booking after another Air B N B cancelled, and were fast at communicating. The surroundings were stunning, probably the best view I’ve ever had when washing up !

Lovely cottage on a beautiful site. The cottage was homely and spacious, with all the facilities you need (including a washing machine!). The location on the A59 was great for visiting York.

A truly beautiful location and a lovely cottage. We had a great week and wished we could have stayed longer. Jane was on hand with lots of local information and made us feel very much at home.

We spent a lovely few days at Adam and Sally’s cottage. It has been beautifully restored and has everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. It is lovely and peaceful, positioned right next to Shibden Hall so you can go for a walk around the grounds which we enjoyed or just sit in the garden. I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough.

We had a fab weekend! The house is clean and tidy, the beds are super comfy and the location is very peaceful and quiet. There’s a lovely little park, a cafe, a shop and a couple of pubs all within easy walking distance. We would absolutely recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future :-)

as I used to live next street to Julie's house, i would not hesitate to use here wonderful facilities again, when coming down from Scotland. and would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit the area. thank you julie,will definitely use again for an all round fantastic stay. yours sincerely MR. very helpful check In, looked better than the online pictures, doesn't look so good on the outside but once inside it's like your in a different place.
