We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Erika and Adam's place had great amenities and everything we needed for a weekend stay. The communication was easy, the place was clean and plenty of outdoor space for our group. This will be a spot we hope to repeat sometime.

The Postmaster’s House was absolutely wonderful, and our family of five plus dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, and great for a family or group. We loved the record player and board games, and were a short and picturesque drive to vineyards, alpaca and lavender farms, shops, and all that Prince Edward County has to offer. We’d love to stay here again!

It’s hard to put into words how magical and beautiful this place is. From the natural beautiful of the woods and river rapids, to the cozy treehouse, with wraparound porch overlooking the water. The property was decked out with everything you could want and need! It’s obvious how much love, care and attention to detail goes into the property. The creativity and expression is unmatched! There is so much to do and see, I wish we could have stayed longer. The Treehouse was 1 of 5 stops on my road trip, and it was hands down my absolute favourite! I can’t wait to book another visit there, and I will absolutely be recommending to everyone I know!

This home was a great place for our group. It was very clean, no clutter and spacious. The open concept kitchen and living room was great for us to relax and be together after a day of touring. The hot tub was lovely in the evening. The weather didn’t permit us to enjoy the outdoors too much, but the fire pit looked lovely, as well as the outdoor seating under outdoor lights. Jimmy was very responsive and provided a well detailed instruction manual that guided us on our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Jolie maison des années 1800, deux grands lits confortables, beaucoup de place, tout est fourni, rue très calme. Parfait pour se reposer avec un bon repas. Maison remplie d'histoire!

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

Aileen was very friendly and communicative, as well as extremely helpful! She was very accommodating and flexible during an ice storm by letting us stay a few hours after check out to wait for the storm to pass. The space was private and cozy. There were a lot of outdoor activities to do in the property as well. We had a great weekend and would definitely book again in the future!

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

Our stay at Bill and Denise's place was perfect! The central location to downtown Picton was great, we could walk to the Millennium trail, great local restaurants and hotspots and it was a quick commute to the PEC wine trail and Sandbanks Provincial Park. The unit was clean and cozy and Bill and Debise were great hosts and made recommendations or local things to do. We will be back!

My family and I had a wonderful getaway at York Riverscape. The cottage was well stocked with all the essentials. We especially loved not having to bring our own bedding and towels. The kids had a blast with the foosball table: Julie and Roger were responsive hosts and their cottage was exactly as described. We plan to return in the future.

Thanks, Peter, for the lovely stay at your Chalet and being such an accommodating host. The house is very tidy, clean, and has all the amenities we needed. We loved watching the snow flakes fall outside, and all the natural light that shines through the enormous windows. The place is quiet, cozy and warm. Nicely appointed. Being nestled in the woods, we enjoyed exploring the property with the dog (despite the snow and the Spring run-off making the woods quite wet, but wearing rubber boots, we were able to scout around. Easy 10 min drive to all major stores & factory outlets. I would definitely stay here again.

The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

Eric and Larissa’s house was perfect for the wedding we attended at the Bright house, the location is perfect for most of what the county has to offer. The home it’s self is perfect every thing you need is there and then some. Bbq to the fire pit and kids play land it’s perfect for! Larissa was very responsive and met every need! This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Great place! 4 adults, 3 children. We skied at Camp Fortune 3 days and visited a museum on the fourth. Pictures describe the place very well. Kids played in the huge backyard. We also went for a 2 hour walk on a trail nearby. It’s a house with character, and can be a bit draughty in some places, and also is unevenly heated. That was our only issue. Nice showers and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Good lighting. Kitchen is well-stocked and spacious. Mud room large and convenient. We would definitely return. Thank you!

This home is stunning ! Full of country cozy charm with some upscale conveniences and an amazing water view. We booked for a girls weekend away and could not have been more pleased. The location was great! Grant was welcoming and easy to communicate with and the home a beautiful. Would highly recommend!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).
