We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

Ian’s place was stunning in every aspect from the cleanliness right down to the location. This Air BnB is a real gem and perfect for exploring The Lake District. Ian is a good host who answered all of our questions. We loved it so much we booked an extra night. Would highly recommend a stay in this Air BnB, we will definitely return.

Great place! The cottage is wonderful, everything is simple, natural and very nice. It was equipped with everything you need. Great place as a base for hiking, a big city with attractions is very close. Anne is a very warm person, always ready to help. Thank you for a very nice time spent here.

Just returned from a three day stay at Michael's place. It was fabulous, great communication from Michael, the apartment was spotless ,easy check in, very quiet beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for all areas, great walks. Lots of eating places nearby. Swimming pool was a bonus! Would definitely recommend Michael's place. We will go back again !

We love the Curator's Flat for its period charm - Wordsworth's period. We love to build a fire in the outstanding fireplace, and while lounging in the lovely chairs and sofa, think of the the minds and talents who once gathered in this house. Men and women who shifted the culture of a nation, and the world. This was our 3rd stay and we can't wait to be back.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at the Flat at Aikton Arms. The remote and peaceful location, surrounded by farms, provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While it’s not a touristy destination, it offers a tranquil hideout away from the crowds. Just an hour away, we could easily explore many of the Lake District’s attractions.

Lovely space with everything I needed. I only stayed for one night, but would come back, if I'm ever in the area again. Maybe not something for people who are afraid of spiders, as I have seen at least three really big one during my stay.

The house was incredibly comfortable and super clean. The bedding, including the duvet and pillows, was exceptionally cozy and made our stay very warm and pleasant. The host personally greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!

We had a really lovely stay. It was a quiet area, enclosed garden, great for dogs. Although I didn’t venture out, the location is close to town. The house was spotless, had everything you needed. When I asked questions Kev responded really fast. Would 100% recommend.

Dougie was great. Came for a quiet birthday weekend with the girls and it was lovely and exactly what we needed. Plenty of room, super clean and very comfy beds - best nights sleep we’ve all had in years!! Heated bathroom flooring is a nice touch. Hot tub was very clean and easy to set up. Dougie is a fab host, very communicative and welcoming. Even kept an eye on the hot tub log burner for us while we went for a drink at the Gretna Inn so it was ready for our return!

We needed a place to stay overnight on our way from the Midlands to Scotland, there were 6 of us and we couldn’t have found a better place for the money. This Airbnb couldn’t have been cleaner, it was immaculate, Thankyou.

A great accommodation for a family get together! Spacious, clean, so much storage space and an ideal location for a walk into town. The darts board was a hit and the views from the hot tub and top windows were beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you!

Lovely quiet location with great views of both the Solway Firth and the Mountains of the Lake District. The House was clean and cosy and we felt at home straight away. Our Host Claire was attentive and dealt promptly with our queries. Great communication throughout our stay. I Would highly recommend this place and will definitely look at going back.

Adrian and Stefania's annexe was perfect for us to get away into Cumbria. It is a great location, peaceful and a really beautifully established property. Alot of thought and care has gone into creating a lovely calm place for guests to stay. Adrian and Stefania made us feel very welcome and were readily available to help with anything we might have wanted - though they had thought of everything. The little touches always make you feel welcome- from the greeting goodies to a warm freshly baked croissant breakfast on departure morning. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us. We loved every minute of our stay and nothing was a bother to Mary. We were sent a lot of information before our arrival and Mary even took the time to inform us on the day that the cottage was ready early and we could check in as we pleased and also accommodating a late check out at no extra cost. The cottage was well equipped and we were supplied with tea ..coffee and some extra special biscuits along with fresh milk in the fridge on arrival which was really thoughtful. The bed was super cosy, bedding spotlessly clean and towels were super soft and fluffy . We did spend time on the outside patio which was relaxing and peaceful .There is absolutely nothing negative i have to say about my stay i will definitely be returning for another stay

Fantastic property in a peaceful area of Portinscale ,easy walking distance into Keswick,the designated parking place was an added bonus. I’m a single traveller with no dogs,the apartment had no smell of dogs,no dog hairs and was spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was a good size ,the shower was easy to operate either rainfall or normal shower head with great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to either make yourself a snack or to cook yourself a meal. The bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh and the bed was lovely and comfortable, overall the apartment was home from home. Did a number of walks on Saturday and Sunday,Derwent circular walk,Cat Bells and Latrigg,will definitely be returning to attempt Scafell and Skiddaw. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Beautiful apparent with lots of things to do aroud. Very clean and organised and a very friendly hoast. Spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Overall a beautiful weekend away.

This is such a lovely place, it felt like home from home, had everything we needed, clean and comfy. Such a beautiful area, lovely walks from the house, and Grasmere is lovely too. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Julie’s was absolutely lovely; the attention to detail was second to none, every room was spotless and looked fresh and new. The decor was very inviting and tasteful and the view out of the bedroom window was beautiful. The location was perfect- very peaceful and green. And of course Julie was ever so welcoming and kind and quick to answer any queries.
