A beautiful beach on the Solway Coast is only 12 miles away.

45 Cecil Street is a welcoming home located in the heart of the great Border City Carlisle. Located just 5 minutes walk away from the train station it provides a great base for anyone visiting the city or the surrounding area. Our home has a ground floor courtyard and kitchen and on the first floor you will find the living room, 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. The whole house is available to our guests during their stay and while we cant provide private parking there are 2 car parks just nearby.

A perfect base for visiting Carlisle and the surrounding area, eg, The Lakes, Hadrians Wall. There is a double bed, 3 draw chests, sofa, TV and a dining table. The Kitchen has a microwave, cooker, toaster, kettle, washing machine and fridge/frezzer. The Bathroom has a toilet, sink and bath with shower. The flat is suitable for a couple or a single person.

Kitty's Place is a two bedroomed studio style apartment with adjoining rooms, set in the beautiful Eden Valley, Cumbria, which is fantastic for woodland and river walking as well as hosting fantastic, quiet roads for cycling. We're 30mins from The Lake District National Park, and 10-15mins from Carlisle Airport, Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle Castle. Next door is a traditional Inn, with restaurant quality food. Please check opening times as we do not open every day. Booking is also advisable.

Garden Flat, Ullswater: Fabulous views and reviews

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Hadrian's Hideaway - an ideal cosy stop over

A cosy annexe just off the Hadrian's Wall path in Stanwix, Carlisle. You may wish to use nearby eateries or make yourself something in the kitchenette (small airfryer, microwave, fridge, hotplate, kettle and toaster provided) we welcome those who wish for a place to stay. A double bed and en suite shower awaits in fresh comfortable surroundings. Open to all but please be aware of access arrangements to the property -access up a lane. Free on street parking is available nearby (100m approx)

Greta View, Penrith Road, Keswick

Welcome to our comfortable refurbished one bedroom ground floor apartment. We have recently undertaken a further upgrade to improve the property, replacing the bathroom, flooring and putting in fire doors. The flat, is not only located in Keswick’s town centre, it has the advantage of private off street parking, with amenities and shops, including the wealth of restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk away. For guests who prefer to cook, we have provided a wide range of kitchenware.

Lake District flat with great mountain views

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.

Tethera (Cumbrian for 3) is one of 3 brand new apartments in the newly renovated Cumbrian Bank Barn, 'Amma Barn'. This cozy yet spacious bed-sit comfortably sleeps two people and is perfect for a short get away to enjoy the quieter side of the English Lake district, the Westmorland Dales or the Eden Valley. Tethera has a warm and inviting open-plan space with a sofa, wall-mounted TV, King size bed and kitchenette as well as an en-suite with large walk in shower.

Flat above popular Lake District pub

The Farriers Lodge is located above the Horse and Farrier pub in the picturesque village of Dacre. It is perfect for couples and single travellers looking to explore the Lake District - being only 3 miles from Lake Ullswater you'll find plenty of things to see and do. Fair warning - being above a busy pub there can be some noise heard from the pub below. Current pub opening times: Monday - closed Tuesday to Saturday - 12pm to 10pm Sunday 12pm to 5.30pm

This is a lovely spacious apartment in a very quiet residential area in central Keswick. There is a parking space for 1 car outside and you can leave the car all week as you're within walking distance of all amenities; shops, restaurants, pubs, lake Derwentwater, hills and mountains etc. It's the perfect place to go out and explore, return and relax, go for a night out in Keswick. Whatever you want to do, it's a great base to relax and explore from.
