The place was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. The cinema room was a hit with us all - watching Lord of the Rings from a hot tub was amazing! The rooms were all comfortable, the animals were all gorgeous and the fairy garden was adorable. It felt like a real hideaway, and we'd be delighted to visit again. Thank you ever so much!!

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. Michael was an incredible host—super responsive, friendly, and always ready with great local recommendations. His home is a brilliant location to get into the city, with roath park lake a short walk away. The house was absolutely beautiful, with amazing styling and all the comforts of home. The little touches provided by Michael, made the stay even more special. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

This place is wonderful. We were four families with young children (8 adults and 7 kids aged between 0 and 4) and this place was just perfect for us. So much space - 4 bathrooms, and enough sections of the house for each family to be able to eg put kids to bed without being disturbed . The photos don't do the living space justice. There are two living rooms - one upstairs with incredible views and a pool table. The dining table that is photographed is not the only table for group dining. The kitchen also had a table of a size that can fit 8 around it easily. It had a long bench and there were 6 foldy chairs in the kitchen cupboard. The beach is literally 100m away from the garden down a little path. The garden is large and beyond it is an area with a slide. The beach is so huge and we saw hardly anyone else near us. Felt like having a private beach. We just spent the whole time in the garden / beach so can't comment on the wider area. There's a small Morrisons a few mins away

We had a fab stay at the Lodge, it was a great base for a few days riding BPW and Dirt Farm. The house was really clean and well appointed with a large secure garage for bikes & van. Jamuna was very responsive in comms. We hope to stay again when next back biking @ BPW. Thanks!

Had a great stay here for weekend away with family great host who communicated with us with no issues lovely spacious bedrooms close to shops and only a £10 uber ride into centre or you can walk would definitely recommend this place and once again thanks for letting us stay

We had a fabulous stay here with family ahead of a wedding at Gileston Manor. It was a perfect location, and we had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay. The accommodation gave us all space and time to get ready for a wedding, including a lovely large living area. Ginetta was extremely helpful and responded so quickly to any questions we had. A beautiful stay at this absolutely idyllic cottage. Janet and Mike are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Janet was brilliant with clear instructions on locating the property and was happy with a flexible check in for me with me working night shifts. The cottage is deceptively larger than it appears outside. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. The gardens and the birds were phenomenal. I even took a day off to enjoy this peaceful setting. I will most definitely be back to explore more of the countryside. The walk around the local reservoir was beautiful with stunning scenery and wildlife. Everything you could want and more. Thank you!

Fantastic place to stay, all the rooms were very comfy. The kitchen was fully kitted out for large parties and it was right in the middle of all the town. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant place fitted out sensitively to an old style. Bedrooms and shower were excellent. Close to pubs and shops but far enough away they are not a bother. Parking is on the road where you can find it but we didn't have any problems.

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

We had a wonderful weekend in WSM with friends. Jenny's house was close to the town/sea front and was spotless and clean. Good communication and very responsive and flexible. There were good local restaurants and pubs close by. Very close to sea front which allowed us to have a number of walks along the promenade. A wonderful visit.

We stayed at this house as a group of friends, and overall, we had a wonderful time. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The only minor issue was that one of the rooms ( single) the bed was really small, more suited for a child, which made it a bit uncomfortable for one of us. Otherwise, everything was fantastic, and we’d definitely love to come back!
