Just about an hour west of Canada's Capital, you'll find plenty of activity in all four seasons. A short ten-minute drive places you at either the Calabogie Racetrack or the Highlands golf course! Only seven minutes to Calabogie Peaks! Cook on your private BBQ on your own deck overlooking the water or choose from a handful of terrific restaurants in the area.

The Sarah Lesley Cabin! This off-grid, two bedroom log cabin has a private hiking trail along the top of the Deacon Escarpment leading to your stunning view of Golden Lake. Enjoy exploring, hiking, and canoeing; Cabin Comforts:propane fireplace, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, stove with oven, washroom with composting toilet and vanity with cold running water. Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
