The Grandview Yurt at Hogback Homestead is nestled into the mountains of Vermont. It features beautiful views, and is a minimalist and peaceful alternative to the more populated resort towns. The kitchenette is basic but provides the necessities, and the restroom is an outdoor sawdust style composting toilet. Electricity is supplied via a small off grid solar array, suitable for light electrical use (charging computers and electronics, powering lights etc). Please provide your own bedding!

Get back to nature! This is a quite riverside primitive campsite. NO BATHROOMS so everything is natural. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Camping on a Private Pond

A serene place in nature to unplug and unwind. It's private and quiet with the exception of the sound of the running brook. (NO WIFI or CELL service at the cabin) May come to the house if you need to get in touch during your stay. There is local hiking and two large lakes close by.
