Cheerful 3 bedroom miners cottage in Pontycymmer

Come stay at our cozy little miners cottage set in the heart of the Garw Valley. Surrounded by spectacular scenery along with walking routes and mountain bike trails, this is an ideal location for singles, couples and families who are keen mountain bikers and hikers. We also welcome well behaved pets. The house is located 20 min drive from Bridgend train station which is perfect for trips to Cardiff. Also 25 minutes drive to Porthcawl, which is ideal for beach visits and the Elvis Festival.

Location, location, location... - Situated in a quiet residential road - 300 meters from beach and promenade - 3 minutes from the main shopping area and cafes - Nearby attractions include: golf courses, surfing beaches, Kenfig Nature Reserve and areas of beautiful protected coastline with rare flora fauna! A comfortable family home with garden, the property has a modern kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom as well as a sitting room, separate dining room, three bedrooms and downstairs toilet.

Cosy annexe in Coychurch

This unique space has been newly refurbished to provide a cosy and conveniently located accommodation. One lovely sized double bedroom, bathroom with generous walk in shower, small kitchenette area with air fryer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Lounge with TV/ Netflix. Outside patio area with seating is welcomed to be used. The annexe is attached to the owners but with its own front door and key safe. To note are the space saver stairs which may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Afan Forest Park Heather View

This beautifully renovated three-story house offers stunning views of the mountains and the historic old railway bridge Ideal for all leisure based activities. Providing easy access to the network of mountain bike trails, and a short ride to Afan Park visitors centre. The beach is a 45-minute cycle ride, which can be accessed using the cycle path network. Other local leisure opportunities include walking, running, horse riding and fishing. Located 20 minutes from junction 41 of the M4.

Spacious modern lodge set in the owners garden. Excellent rail links into Cardiff Centre with pub /beer garden on doorstep. Own private garden and entrance, not overlooked. Ideal base for exploring the South Wales area , or just visiting relatives. A 15 min drive to the Welsh coast, Porthcawl and the Heritage Coast. A 5 min drive to McArthur Glen Retail Outlet , and half hour drive/train ride into Cardiff City Centre, great for shopping and theatres! Twenty five min drive to Swansea .

Afan Forest House

Situated in a quiet, semi-rural village is this charming, three-bedroom holiday home. On road parking for two cars, tastefully-presented interiors, and a spacious outdoor garden with seating and private hot tub. When it's time to relax, wind down in the sitting area, which is kept warm and toasty by a woodburning stove. When you're ready for some activity, head into Afan Forest Park, which houses a plethora of wonderful circular walks and bike trails and a local pub/restaurant.

Old Nursery

A unique old barn quietly situated near the town centre. There are many old features within the property giving it a cosy feel. It comprises of a double bedroom with an en suite shower room. Downstairs there is a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. On your arrival you will find a complementary bottle of fresh milk, cereals, teas, coffee and bathroom toiletries ready for use. Cartref, 1860s family home.

Cartref is located in a conservation area of historical importance. We are 200m from Newcastle Castle which is at the top of the oldest road in the area - Newcastle Hill. The property benefits from first-floor views looking out over Bridgend and the hills of the South Wales valleys beyond. Bridgend Town with many bars and restaurants is a 5-minute walk. Sand dunes, beaches, mountain walks, and both Cardiff and Swansea are easily accessible, by car, train, or bus.
